Abstract: The present invention relates to a separator substrate for a separator. The separator substrate according to the present invention has a small and uniform pore size, thus having excellent physical strength and durability, and can ensure a high dielectric breakdown voltage, resulting in a low short-circuit occurrence rate. To this end, the separator substrate comprises a plurality of pores and is a sheet-type porous film including a polymer material, the polymer material includes a polyolefin-containing resin, and when a ventilation curve (wet curve) of a wet sample is measured, a difference between the maximum pressure and the minimum pressure is 100 psi or less. In addition, a heat resistance layer is formed on one side or both sides of the surface of the separator substrate.
