Abstract: A main purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a structural member having a good balance of bending strength and light weight. In the present disclosure, the above problem is solved by providing a structural member having an end portion T1, and an end portion T2 facing the end portion T1 in a plan view in a height direction (Z-axis direction), wherein, when an axial direction connecting the end portion T1 and the end portion T2 is defined as an X-axis direction, the structural member has, along the X-axis direction, a region A including the end portion T1, and a region B which is located closer to the end portion T2 than the region A, and includes the end portion T2. The region A has, in a cross section perpendicular to the X-axis direction, a closed cross-sectional portion A of which the outer edge shape is one closed cross section A. The region B has a closed cross-sectional portion B satisfying a predetermined (i) or (ii).
