Abstract: The present invention provides a steel sheet for hot stamping that has a prescribed chemical composition, in which: when the Mo content of the steel sheet is measured, by line analysis using EPMA, in a range of 0.05 mm in the thickness direction centered on a depth position at one-quarter of the thickness of the steel sheet from the surface of the steel sheet, the maximum value of the Mo content, the minimum value of the Mo content, and the average value of the Mo content are such that ([Mo]MAX-[Mo]MIN)/[Mo]AVE<0.50; and the standard deviation of the Vickers hardness in a region of 0.6 mm in a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction and 0.3 mm in the thickness direction centered on a depth position at one-quarter of the thickness of the steel sheet from the surface of the steel sheet is 20 (Hv) or less.
