Battery Module In Which Width Of Gas Discharge Passage Is Variably Adjusted According To Pressure Of Venting Gas, And Battery Pack Including Same
Abstract: A battery module according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of battery cells; a module case accommodating the plurality of battery cells therein and having a gas venting hole on at least one side thereof; and a gas venting panel which is coupled to the outer portion of the module case and has a gas discharge passage communicating with the gas venting hole and guiding flow of gas to the outside along a predetermined path, wherein the gas venting panel may include a passage width adjusting unit for variably adjusting the width of the gas discharge passage according to pressure of gas.
