Abstract: A battery, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an electrode assembly comprising a first uncoated portion and a second uncoated portion; a housing which has an open portion formed on one side thereof and accommodates the electrode assembly through the open portion; a first current collector coupled to the first uncoated portion and positioned within the housing; a cap covering the open portion; and a spacer assembly comprising a spacer portion interposed between the first current collector and the cap and configured to prevent movement of the electrode assembly, a gasket portion interposed between the housing and the cap and configured to seal a gap between the cap and the housing, and a connecting portion connecting the spacer portion and the gasket portion and configured to rotate the spacer portion when a force exceeding a reference value is applied in a direction from the gasket portion toward the spacer portion.
