Venting Device And Prismatic Secondary Battery Provided With Same

Abstract: The disclosed invention relates to a venting device, characterized by comprising: a fixed member which is provided with a perforated hollow body, and is provided with a first stepped portion on an inner circumferential surface of an upper portion of the body; a movable member which is inserted into and coupled to the interior of the fixed member, is provided with a plurality of venting holes, and is provided with a second stepped portion facing the first stepped portion on a lower outer circumferential surface thereof; and a gap maintaining member which applies a repulsive force between the fixed member and the movable member, wherein, with respect to the fixed member, the movable member may move between a first position maintained by the repulsive force applied by the gap maintaining member, and a second position when an external force exceeding the repulsive force is applied to the fixed member, and wherein the number of venting holes in the movable member communicating with the outside is different at the first position and the second position.
