Abstract: The purpose of this invention is to reduce the burden on the driver of an agricultural machine and to improve the efficiency of agricultural work. This agricultural work assistance system (100) comprises a display unit (52) capable of displaying maps (MP1, MP2) showing fields, an area-setting unit (51b) that sets a first area (E1) on the maps (MP1, MP2) displayed on the display unit (52) and a second area (C1) positioned inside the first area (E1), and a route creation unit (51c) that creates travel routes (L1, L2) in which an agricultural machine (1) is caused to travel in the first area (E1) and/or the second area (C1). The route creation unit (51c) can set at least a part (L1a, L2a, L1s, L2s, L2c) of the travel routes (L1, L2) as an autonomous steering route in which the agricultural machine (1) is steered autonomously and changes in the travel speed of the agricultural machine (1) are left to manual operation.
