Battery Cell And Manufacturing Method Therefor

Abstract: A battery cell according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a stack including a cathode, an anode, and a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode; electrode tabs extending from the cathode or the anode of the stack; and electrode leads coupled to the electrode tabs, wherein: the electrode tabs have a pre-welding portion for connecting the respective electrode tabs, and a main welding portion for coupling the electrode tabs and the electrode leads; the pre-welding portion includes an inner edge and an outer edge; at least one of welding spots of the main welding portion overlaps with the inner edge of the pre-welding portion; and, with respect to the lengthwise direction of the electrode tabs, the inner edge of the pre-welding portion is positioned closer than the outer edge of the pre-welding portion to the stack.
