Battery Module That Can Suppress Emission Of Gas Or Flame Through Connector In Case Of Internal Ignition
Abstract: A battery module according to the present invention comprises: battery cells; a module case for receiving the battery cells and having an installation port for a connector at one side thereof; a flame-retardant cover made of a fire resistant and insulating material and provided to shield the installation port for the connector; and a connector exposed to the outside through the installation port for the connector and having a connector housing separated from the inside of the module case by the flame-retardant cover and connector pins extending through the flame-retardant cover toward the inside of the module case.
