Electrode Assembly Folding Apparatus And Folding Method Using Same

Abstract: A folding apparatus of an electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a supply unit for supplying the electrode assembly which includes two sheet-type separators, second electrodes continuously positioned between the inner surfaces of the separators facing each other, and first electrodes positioned alternately up and down on the outer surfaces of the two separators, so that a first unit body, on the upper surface of which the first electrode is located, and a second unit body, on the lower surface of which the first electrode is located, are alternately connected; a holding unit for folding the electrode assembly in a zigzag shape by holding and transferring the first unit body supplied from the supply unit through a swing operation; and a stack unit in which the first unit body transported by the holding unit is stacked.
