Row Detection System, Farm Machine Provided With Row Detection System, And Method For Detecting Row

Abstract: This row detection system is attached to a farm machine, and comprises an imaging device that captures the ground on which the farm machine travels to acquire a time-series image including at least a part of the ground, and a processing device that carries out image processing of the time-series image. The processing device obtains a first moving amount of each of a plurality of feature points in an image plane by feature point matching from a plurality of images acquired at different times of the time-series image; perspectively projects each of the plurality of feature points from the image plane to a reference plane corresponding to the ground; obtains a second moving amount of each projected point in the reference plane on the basis of the first moving amount; and estimates the height of the plurality of feature points from the reference plane on the basis of the second moving amount, to detect a ridge on the ground.
