Abstract: An artificial lung device comprising: a housing (2) formed in a tubular shape including both end portions that are closed, the housing including a blood inflow port (16) and a blood outflow port ( 17) and arranged such that a center axis of the housing is directed in a lateral direction; a gas exchanger (43) arranged in the housing and configured to perform gas exchange with respect to blood while the blood flows from the blood inflow port to the blood outflow port; a filter structure (56, 66) provided around the gas exchanger; and a bubble storing portion (70) provided between the filter structure and the gas exchanger, wherein the bubble storing portion is located at an upper side of the housing and faces the gas exchanger.
