DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to a single-running cable system and method for installation. More specifically, the present invention relates to the installation of a single-running cable system by removing the cable system with cable joints that pass through various sections of the submarine.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART:
[002] The cable joints are used to connect cables that come from different sections of the submarine's electrical system. These joints are typically used when the length of the cable required for the entire system is longer than the maximum length available for a single cable.
[003] However, the cable joints can reduce the strength of cables and cause power losses at the joining area. When two cable segments are joined, the joint can create a weak point in the cable where it may be more susceptible to damage, such as from bending or pulling forces. Additionally, the process of joining cables can introduce imperfections or small gaps in the cable that can create stress points and weaken the cable's overall strength. Submarine cables, in particular, can be subject to additional stresses and environmental factors that can further weaken the cable at joint locations.
[004] To address the aforementioned issue, a single-running cable or continuous cable that runs the entire length of the cable system without the cable joint in the submarine is required.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a single-running cable system that replaces the cable system with cable joints passing through the sections within the submarine.

[008] Another object of the present invention is to provide a single running cable without a cable joint, which removes the weak points associated with joints and increases reliability, and makes the cable less likely to damage.
[009] Accordingly, the present invention pertains to a single-running cable system and its method of installation. The cable joints from the submarine's forward and aft parts were removed, and a single-running cable system was installed, with similar cable tags as cable joints placed on the single-running cable system to avoid the impact on procedures and documentation.
[010] In an aspect of the present invention, a single-running cable system, comprising a continuous cable with a cable tag, said continuous cable is configured to enhance cable strength and reduce power loss.
[011] In an aspect of the present invention, the cable tag is configured to provide a visual reference point for the cable from an aft section and a forward section.
[012] In an aspect of the present invention, the method for installing a single-running cable system in submarines, comprising the steps of removing the existing cable system with a cable joint within the submarine sections, installing a single-running cable system to replace the cable joint, securing the single-running cable system throughout the submarine sections.

[016] The present invention discloses a single-running cable system and the method for installing it inside the various sections of a submarine, which replaces the cable system with cable joints that pass through the sections of the submarine. The strength of the cable is increased by single-running cable systems. In general, a single-running cable is a more reliable and efficient cable system compared to a cable with joints in submarine applications.
[017] Fig.1 illustrates the existing cable system 10A. The cable from the forward and aft parts joined through the cable joint 20. In the existing cable system 10A, the cable from aft section 3A and forward section 4A is connected by the cable joint 20.
[018] Fig.2 depicts the single-running cable system 10. the single-running cable system 10 consists of a continuous cable 1 with a cable tag 2. The single-running cable system 10 eliminates the need for the cable joint 20. The single-running cable system 10 is designed to enhance overall strength, ensuring robustness and durability in harsh submarine environments. In single-running cable system 10, the cable joint 20 is not required to connect the cable from aft section 3A and forward section 4A.
[019] In an embodiment of the present invention, the method for installing a single-running cable system 10 in submarines includes removal of the existing cable system 10A with a cable joint 20 within the submarine sections, installation of a single-running cable system 10 to replace the cable joint 20 and secure the single-running cable system 10 throughout the submarine sections.
[020] In an embodiment of the present invention, the cable tag 2 is incorporated to maintain procedural consistency and documentation integrity during the transition from an existing cable system 10A to the single-running cable system 10. The cable tag 2 is designed to be attached at specific intervals along the single-running cable system 10, the cable tag 20 provides a visual reference point for the cable from aft section 3A and forward section 4A.
[021] In an embodiment of the present invention, the single-running cable system 10 eliminates weak points associated with cable joints 20, thereby significantly enhancing overall cable strength.
[022] In an embodiment of the present invention, the single-running cable system 10 minimizes resistance and optimizes electrical conductivity, thereby reducing power loss and enhancing voltage and current levels throughout the cable network.
[023] Although a particular exemplary embodiment of the invention has been disclosed in detail for illustrative purposes, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that variations or modifications of the disclosed invention, including the rearrangement in the configurations of the parts, changes in steps and their sequences may be possible. Accordingly, the invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations as may fall within the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[024] The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description.
