The following specification particularly describes the nature of the invention and the manner in which it is performed:
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a wick-making machine. More particularly, it relates to a wick-making machine which use to create income sources for physical disable persons and old persons who cannot able to work hard. The presently wick-making machine can be installed at old age houses and charitable trusts where the village women are works and in industrial sectors, and mills. The presently wick-making machine is capable to work automatically without any external human support required.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Wick-making machines that process prepared cotton roving into workable thread. Such machinery can be dated back centuries. During the 18th and 19th centuries, as part of the Industrial Revolution cotton-spinning machinery was developed to bring mass production to the cotton industry. Cotton spinning machinery was installed in large factories, commonly known as cotton mills.
In conventional technologies wick-making machine is a manual process wherein a lump of cotton may be taken and spun with hand to form wicks. The process is very taking a long time and the process involve in making the wick is quite skilled work, moreover, uniformity is not maintained so, according to the use of cotton for preparing the wicks are also very which may also increase the material cost and non-uniformity in the work. To create uniformity in the work and for the bulk preparation of the wick on a small scale level, the device is required to prepare the wick through the automatic machine which will make the work faster. Presently there are some machines available for preparing wicks but most of the machines are for long wicks and some machines are very complex to operate. However, each of these machines is very big and has very complex consisting parts arrangements, which has required a skilled person to operate. Also, there is a semi-automatic machine available in the market but the limitation of the machine is a person can manually enter the cotton roll, which can decrease the efficiency of production and is not user-friendly.
To overcome the problem associated with the prior art, the inventors of the present invention came up with an innovation which is the wick-making machine. The presently wick-making machine is automatically run without any human or external support. Different compartments can increase the bulk production of a wick. The present invention operates automatically, and the uniformity, accuracy, and production are very high capacity. Also, the entire process is very fast which increase efficiency and increase productivity. The cotton roll converts them into pre-defined wicks before eventually dropping them off.
PRIOR ART AND ITS DISADVANTAGES:
DE10113843C1 patent document discloses a method for monitoring the arrangement of the wick in candles in a candle-making machine compares the length of the wick used in a candle production stage with a desired value and adjusting the machine if this exceeds the acceptable tolerance. An Independent claim is included for a machine for use in the process with an incremental wick feed that passes the wick to the main feed, a signal being produced corresponding to the length of wick used in the candle-making stage. This is then compared with a desired value and adjustments are made if this exceeds the acceptable tolerance.
The above-mentioned prior art is focused on candles and which is candle making machines. The above-mentioned invention cannot be automatic, it is complicated and does not suffice a simple need for wick formation in a cost-efficient manner.
IN3799/MUM/2013 patent document discloses a wick-making machine adapted to make round and long neck wicks, said wick making machine comprises: a) at least a rotor adapted to hold at least a needle head, and at least a pair of needles, said needle head being located operatively downwards from said rotor; and b) at least a block coaxial to said needle head and said pair of needles, respectively, characterized, in that, said block comprising a slit adapted to receive said pair of needles, per needle head, and wick; wherein, said at least a rotor is angularly displaceable to further angularly displace said needle head and corresponding needles, and further wherein a clearance between each of said pairs of needles is adapted to grip thread and/or fiber and angularly displace said thread and/or fiber in said block to tum said thread and/or fiber in to said round and long neck wicks.
The above-mentioned prior art discloses a wick-making machine. The prior art cannot automatic machine, It is a semi-automatic machine. As disclosed in the figure and invention, the roll of cotton need to insert every time manually, when the wick is prepared and the wick production is less because the machine has less needle arrangement so it is difficult to make multiple and/or bulk productions of wick in real-time. So, the machine is less efficient. The above-mentioned prior art is less accurate, more power consume, and more time consume ad it is required human effort and/or external effort in real-time. The capacity of production is less, the machine required input every time and it is a more complex and long process. The above-mentioned invention is not user-friendly.
CN201512618U patent document discloses an improved structure of parts of a cotton spinning machine in the textile industry, in particular, an improved structure of an auto-leveling mechanism of a cotton spinning drawing frame, which comprises an input belt pulley and an output belt pulley as well as a servo motor and is characterized in that the mechanism further comprises a differential gear train consisting of a sun gear, a planet carrier gear and a plurality of planetary gears, wherein the sun gear is connected with the servo motor, the input belt pulley is connected with the planet carrier gear and the planetary gears are connected with the output belt pulley.
The above-mentioned prior art is focused on a cotton spinning machine, it is complicated and does not suffice a simple need for wick formation in a cost-efficient manner.
