Abstract: The present invention discloses a full-size hinge with the same diameter as the bangle at the point of attachment. This ensures that there is no pinching on the forearm caused by the hinge gap, enhancing the overall comfort and wearability of the bangle. The bangle of the present invention comprises pinch-free smooth bangle joint comprises a bangle end with a hole [01]; a rod [02] connected at one end with the bangle through the bangle hole and hinge hole [02a]; a stopper [03] placed on the rod [02]; a spring [07] retained on to the rod [02]; a retainer [05] at one end of the rod [02]; and another end of the bangle [06] where the retainer is connected with the rod [02] and the bangle.

The present invention consists of a bangle with a retractable hinge module. This retractable hinge module eliminates forearm pinching while opening and closing of the bangle and enhances bangle wearing comfort.
The mechanism consists of a full-size hinge with the same diameter as the bangle at the point of attachment. This ensures that there is no pinching on the forearm caused by the hinge gap, enhancing the overall comfort and wearability of the bangle.
The advantage of the present invention is that the combination of retractable hinge mechanism and smooth hinge joint makes the product unique and ergonomically feasible for the wearer without the fear of losing the bangle in an accidental open position. The present invention provides a bangle in two parts as shown in Fig 1, each part is having two ends, wherein first ends of the two parts is connected through retractable hinge mechanism [09], and the second ends part of the ends are connected through forced locking mechanism [010].
The present invention provides complimentary plugging features to the first end of the bangle. The present invention provides one of the bangle parts which has a cavity to place a retractable spring module, and which is hinged along with the two bangle parts to form the retractable hinge mechanism.
The present invention provides a retractable spring module with a hinge stick, having their parts, namely a rod, a hinge hole part whose base length/diameter is more than the diameter of the rod, and a retainer having the length/diameter more than the diameter of rod, wherein the hinge hole part and the retainer [05] are provided at both the ends of the rod [02], such that spring [07] is retained onto the rod [02] between the hinge hole part and the retainer [05] as shown in Fig. 3. The hinge hole part [01] helps to hinge the retractable spring module with two bangle parts.
The present invention provides a retractable module that also has a stopper [03] and a pair of stopper pins [04 and 08], wherein the stopper [03] is placed onto the rod [02], such that the spring is placed between the stopper and the retainer, and the pins holds the stopper at its position.
Fig 2 shows a perspective view of the retractable spring module with spring, stopper, rod, and other necessary parts of the spring module.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the present invention discloses a bangle with Auto close spring hinge (A), Smooth hinge without any forearm pinching (B), Double-notch GB plate for double safety and a seamless look without an external clasp (C), Matching Pusher (D) Fig. 4.
Fig. 5 discloses a process of the spring hinge mechanism with seven steps.
Fig. 6 illustrates an example of the spring hinge mechanism with the dimensions as disclosed. The width of the one-side hinge part ranges from 1mm to max as per the design and spring. The diameter of the hinge ranges from 3.5mm to 4mm. Further, the diameter of the spring ranges from 2.5mm to max as per the hinge. The width of the centre hinge part ranges from 2mm to max as per design and spring. The inner diameter of the hinge for the spring ranges from 2.5mm to max as per the spring. Total width of the spring ranges from 1.5mm to 2mm. The inner diameter of the hinge for rivet is 0.90 mm. The depth of the scooping between the hinge for the spring ranges from 0.75 to max as per the spring width. The thickness of the spring wire ranges from 0.4mm to 0.7mm.
Fig. 7 illustrates the full-size smooth hinge without forearm pinching with auto close spring mechanism and Double-notch GB plate for double safety without any external clasp.
Fig. 8 illustrates that the length of the GB box for double notch ranges from 7mm to 9mm and the distance between two notches ranges from 2.2mm to 3mm. The width of the GB plate ranges from 1.7mm to max as per the design. Into the GB box there will be two locking metals for two notches. The distance between two locking metals ranges from 2.2mm to 3mm.
Further, the shape of the GB Pusher should be matched to the surface of the bangle shank as illustrated in Fig. 9. The thickness of the GB Pusher ranges from 1.2mm to 2mm. The width of the GB Pusher will be as per the GB Box or Bangle Shank.
,CLAIMS:1. A pinch-free smooth bangle joint comprising:
a. a bangle end with a hole [01];
b. a rod [02] connected at one end with the bangle through the bangle hole and hinge hole [02a];
c. a stopper [03] placed on the rod [02];
d. a spring [07] retained on to the rod [02];
e. a retainer [05] at one end of the rod [02]; and
f. another end of the bangle [06] where the retainer is connected with the rod [02] and the bangle.
2. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper [03] comprises a pair of stopper pins [04 and 08].
3. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper pins [04 and 08] are embedded in the stopper from the walls of the stopper from both sides and touching the walls of the rod [02].
4. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bangle joints are connected with the retractable hinge mechanism at one end of the bangle.
5. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bangle end has a cavity to place the retractable spring module.
6. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the diameter of the hinge hole part is more than the diameter of the rod.
7. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hinge hole part and the retainer [05] are provided at both the ends of the rod [02].
8. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper [03] is placed onto the rod [02], such that the spring is placed between the stopper and the retainer, and the pins [04 and 8] holds the stopper at its position.
9. The bangle joint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spring, stopper and the rod are formed from plastic, or metal.
