Abstract: ABSTRACT CHASSIS FOR AN ELECTRIC TWO-WHEELER VEHICLE The present invention relates to a chassis for electric two-wheeler vehicle, comprising: a controller; a motor installed in proximity of the controller; a gear box installed in proximity of the motor; a battery installed below the rider seat to regulate its temperature; and an outer tube having a front end and a rear end extending longitudinally along the centerline to hide joints and welding of the vehicle and provide sturdiness to the vehicle; wherein, the chassis is a twin tube single continuous structure providing support and stability to the vehicle to handle the stress of heavy load; and the controller (102), the motor (104), the gear box, (106), and the battery (108), are configured in a compact space to attain maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle. DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION

[001] The present invention relates to a two-wheeler vehicle. Particularly, the present invention relates to a chassis for an electric two-wheeler vehicle. More particularly, the present invention relates to a chassis for an electric two-wheeler vehicle wherein the components are placed in the compact space to attain maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] “Chassis” is used to refer to the load-bearing part of a vehicle frame. Normally, it is the horizontal section of the vehicle that connects various components of the structure together. The chassis of a vehicle serves as structural foundation of any vehicle that provides mounting support for various components of vehicle such as motor, battery, controller, etc. The chassis plays a crucial role in ensuring stability, handling and overall safety of the vehicle while driving.

[003] The automobile industry is changing with rapid speed and there is a high demand for user-friendly, compact size, stylish and high strength automobiles. The strength of the chassis frame is crucial to protect the delicate components of the vehicle at the time of crash or any accident. The frame or chassis of a vehicle is of different types such as a single cradle frame, double cradle frame, perimeter frame, Trellis frame etc. The choice of any frame depends on the utility, cost and required strength of the vehicle.
[004] Thus, there is a need for a high strength and economical chassis that can combine different components of the vehicle in an efficient manner.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[005] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a better accommodation to all components of the vehicle.

[006] Another objective of the present invention is to configure all the components of the vehicle in compact space to reduce electrical and mechanical loss.
[007] Another objective of the present invention is to provide sturdiness and stability to vehicle.
[008] Another objective of the present invention is to provide better compatibility and also increase durability of vehicle.
[009] Another objective of the present invention is to cover joints and welding of the vehicle and provide strength and aesthetic look to the vehicle.
[010] Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[011] The present invention relates to a chassis for electric two-wheeler vehicle, comprising: a controller; a motor installed in proximity of the controller; a gear box installed in proximity of the motor; a battery installed below the rider seat to regulate its temperature; and an outer tube having a front end and a rear end extending longitudinally along the centerline to cover joints and welding of the vehicle and provide sturdiness to the vehicle; wherein, the chassis is a twin tube single continuous structure providing support and stability to the vehicle to handle the stress of heavy load. The controller (102), the motor (104), the gear box, (106), and the battery (108), are configured in a compact space to attain maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle.

[013] Figure 1 illustrates schematic setup and outer representation of chassis (100) with visual outer tube.
[014] Figure 2 illustrates an isometric view of an exemplary embodiment of chassis frame (100) in which all the components of two-wheeler shall be placed.
[015] Figure 3 illustrates and represents, location of controller (102), motor (104), gearbox (106), battery (108) and an outer tube (110) on a chassis frame.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[016] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system with reference to the accompanying figures. In the figures, similar symbols identify similar components, unless context dictates otherwise. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which have not been contemplated herein.

[017] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
[018] Features that are described and/or illustrated with respect to one embodiment may be used in the same way or in a similar way in one or more other embodiments and/or in combination with or instead of the features of the other embodiments.

Accordingly, it should be apparent to those skilled in the art that the following description of exemplary embodiments of the present invention are provided for illustrative purpose only and not for the purpose of limiting the invention.
[020] It is to be understood that the singular forms “a”, “an” and “the” include plural referents unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[021] It should be emphasized that the term “comprises/comprising” when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, steps or components but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps, components or groups thereof.
[022] Accordingly, the present invention relates to a two-wheeler vehicle. Particularly, the present invention relates to a chassis for an electric two-wheeler vehicle. More particularly, the present invention relates to a chassis for an electric two-wheeler vehicle wherein the components are placed in the compact space to attain maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle.
[023] In an embodiment, the present invention relates to a chassis (100) for electric two-wheeler comprises a controller (102), a motor (104), a gearbox (106), a battery (108), and an outer tube (110). The chassis (100) of two-wheeler vehicle accommodate electrical aggregates and optimize the space to accommodate all necessary components to reduce the electric and mechanical loss and improve the overall performance of the vehicle.
[024] In another embodiment, as shown in Figure 1 and 2, the chassis (100) for the electric two-wheeler, wherein the chassis (100) comprises a twin tube single continuous structure, providing support and stability to the vehicle and capable of surviving the heavy load stress. This arrangement helps to protect components from external hazards and reduces the risk of damages caused by road accidents.
[025] In another embodiment, as shown in Figure 3, the controller (102) is positioned near to the motor (104) increasing the capacity of the vehicle. The controller (102) is an energy regeneration system that converts the battery’s (108) direct current into alternating current thereby regulating the operation of the motor (104). In a preferred embodiment the controller (102), the motor (104), the gear box, (106), and the battery (108), are configured in a compact space to achieve maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle
[026] In another embodiment, the motor (104) is installed in proximity of the controller (102). The motor (104) provides a mechanical effect to vehicle by using the electrical power of the battery (108). In a preferred embodiment the motor (104) and the battery (108) are positioned close to each other to maximize the outcome of mechanical effect offering easy assembly, less cost, and compact arrangement.
[027] In another embodiment, the gear box (106) installed in proximity of the motor (104). The battery (108) is placed between the motor (1) and the seat of the rider. The battery (108) is a power source of vehicle battery that provides power to the motor (104). The location of the battery (108) helps to regulate its own temperature. In an exemplary embodiment, the battery (108) used in the present invention may be, such as, but not limited to, a lithium-ion.
[028] In another embodiment, the outer tube (110) extending longitudinally along the centerline to cover joints and welding of the vehicle and provide sturdiness to the vehicle. The placement of outer tube (110) provides an aesthetic appearance to vehicle, create appealing lines, and allows unified look.
[029] In an embodiment, the chassis (100) of two-wheeler is a light weight chassis frame, increases the performance of the vehicle and improves battery (108) efficiency. The placement of components to optimize space of vehicle and considering center of gravity of vehicle enhances strength and balance weight of the vehicle. The chassis (100) of two wheeler is also provide support to seats, suspension, and handle and luggage box.
[030] In an exemplary embodiment, the two-wheeler vehicle in the present invention may be such as, but not limited to, a two-wheeler electric vehicle.
[031] The present invention exhibits several advantages:
• The present invention provides a chassis to accommodate electrical aggregates and optimize the space to accommodate all necessary components.
• The present invention provides protection of all components from external hazards and reduces the risk of damages caused by road accidents.
• The present invention provides the reduction of mechanical and electrical loss.
• The present invention provides the improve assembly, servicing, and repairing of the two-wheeler vehicle.
• The present invention provides the sturdiness, robustness and aesthetic look to the two-wheeler vehicle.
• The present invention provides better weight distribution to enhance stability and safety to the vehicle while carrying heavy loads.
• The present invention provides cost-effectiveness, easy assembly and promotes economic viability.

[032] While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but, on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the scope of the appended claims

,CLAIMS:WE CLAIM:
1. A chassis for a two-wheeler vehicle, comprising:
a) a controller (102);
b) a motor (104) installed in proximity of the controller (102);
c) a gear box (106) installed in proximity of the motor (104);
d) a battery (108) placed below the rider seat ; and
e) an outer tube (110) extending longitudinally along the centerline to cover joints and welding of the vehicle and provide sturdiness to the vehicle;
wherein,
• the chassis is a twin tube single continuous structure providing support and stability to the two-wheeler vehicle to handle the stress of heavy load; and
• the controller (102), the motor (104), the gear box, (106), and the battery (108), are configured in a compact space to attain maximum output and reduce electrical and mechanical loss of the vehicle.
2. The chassis for a two-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the chassis is made of a material selected from a group consisting of copper, aluminum, steel, and carbon steel.
3. The chassis for a two-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the controller is positioned near to the motor to provide the arrangement that increases the vehicle capacity.
4. The chassis for a two-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the battery (106) is a lithium ion battery.
5. The chassis for a two-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the chassis (100) accommodate electrical aggregates and optimize the space to accommodate all necessary components of the two-wheeler vehicle.
