[0027] It is to be understood that the singular forms “a”, “an” and “the” include plural referents unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[0028] It should be emphasized that the term “comprises/comprising” when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, steps or components but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps, components or groups thereof.
[0029] Accordingly, the present invention relates to an automobile field. Particularly, the present invention relates to an advanced two-wheeler vehicle chassis assembly providing compact arrangements of components at the center of gravity thereby reducing the mechanical loss and enhancing overall efficiency of the vehicle.
[0030] In the present embodiment, the two wheeler chassis assembly comprising a motor (1), a gear box (2), a controller (3), a chain drive (4), a footrest (5), and a battery (6). The arrangement of the chassis assembly ensures execution of multiple works, carrying heavy load, being economical and not requiring separate investments and component development.
[0031] In the present embodiment, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2, front view and side view of the two wheeler vehicle respectively illustrates the chassis assembly which is inclined towards the center of gravity. The chassis assembly is a twin tube construction bound with street metal structure. The chassis assembly comprises of the motor (1). In an exemplary embodiment, the motor may be, but not limited to, a DC series motor, a brushless DC motor, a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
[0032] In the present embodiment, Figure 3, Figure 4 and Figure 5 illustrates the motor (1), the gear box (2), controller (3), chain drive (4) and battery (6). The gear box (2) is installed in the proximity of the motor (1). The gearbox (2) is a power transfer system which distribute the motor (1) power to other components to produce movement.
[0033] The controller (3) is installed in the proximity of the gear box (2). The controller (3) converts the battery’s (6) direct current into alternating current thereby regulating the operation of the motor (1). The motor (1), gear box (2), and controller (3), placed at center of gravity offers easy assembly, less costing and compact design. The advanced electrical layout provide minimum voltage drop and is very energy efficient while aiming to tackle climate crisis.
[0034] In the present embodiment, figure 6 illustrates the chain drive (4) positioned near the motor (1) and the gear box (2) providing smooth functioning of the vehicle with less wear and tear. The chain drive (4) is made of, not limited to, carbon steel, steel alloys.
[0035] In the present embodiment, the chassis assembly comprises the battery (6) installed between the motor (1) and the saddle seat of the vehicle. The battery (6) used in the vehicle is lithium ion battery that provides power to the motor (1).
[0036] In an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 7 illustrates the louvers installed adjacent to the controller (3) and the battery (6). The louvers comprising inlet medium provides ventilation to the battery (6) and the controller (3), in order to maintain the optimized temperature of the battery (6) and the controller (3) by efficiently dissipating the heat through an outlet medium.
[0037] In an embodiment of the present invention, the motor (1), the gear box (2), the controller (3), the chain drive (4) and the battery (6) are installed near to the motor (1) and the controller (3) respectively. This arrangement provides maximum efficiency and smoother functioning with less wear and tear due to low voltage drop due to installation of all components (1, 2, 3, 4, and 6) at the center of gravity of the vehicle. The compact arrangement of all the components reduces mechanical losses, thus enhances overall performance of vehicle. This arrangement creates more space for rider and provides multitasking features, such that the rider gets ample leg space while riding the vehicle alone along with cargo loads at the backside.
[0038] The chassis assembly of two-wheeler also provides better ergonomics by incorporating handle bar to seat, footrest, pillion seat, grab tail, and ladies footrest, thereby offers better comfort and robust feeling to the rider
