Abstract: ABSTRACT AN AI-BASED SMART RECRUITER ASSISTANT The present invention discloses an innovative system for the recruitment process for the job. The system enables an automated AI-based smart calling system between candidates and an AI assistant. It facilitates pre-screening calls to candidates and identifies the interest and sentiment of the candidate towards the job. The system can reach out to the candidates during non-business hours and weekends. The system is capable of eliminating the manual calling process and increasing the speed of recruitment. Fig. 1

AN AI-BASED SMART RECRUITER ASSISTANT
FIELD OF INVENTION:

The present invention relates to an AI-based smart recruiter assistant to recruitment and screening the candidate for the job. It is a system of an AI-based smart recruiter that selects the interested candidate and shortlists the candidates for the job.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION:

Currently, jobs are limited, and candidates are more than actual vacancies. Approximately 10 to 15 per cent more candidates are applying for the job vacancies.
Among the applied candidates, only 2 per cent are interested or have the required skills for an acceptable level of performance.

In case of Candidates hunting, there are huge number of active candidates are available on different job boards. These profiles on job boards are not up to date. So, Recruiters need to reach out to them and check these details and provide them the details which consists of prescreening, interest check, document reminders, interview reminders, interview feedback. Etc.

The screening method can help ensure that candidates meet the minimum requirements for the job. For example, if a job requires a certain level of education or experience, a screening method can filter out candidates who must meet these criteria. Engaging and identifying or screening the potential of candidates for job openings is a critical and time-consuming task for the recruiter.

The traditional recruitment method and pre-screening of the candidates need more efficiency. There are large numbers of candidates who are uninterested in the job opening. During this job opening, they shifted to another job while screening the candidates from the applied candidates.

Recruiters have multiple options to screen candidates, such as skill testing, resume and cover letter review, phone and social media screening, video interviews, and trial projects or work assignments. There are pros and cons to each method.

One of the methods used for assessing candidates is phone call screening. It involves an initial phone interview to evaluate the candidate's qualifications, experience, and overall suitability for the position. One of the benefits of using a phone call screening method is that it allows employers to quickly and efficiently screen a large pool of candidates. By conducting brief phone interviews, employers can get a sense of a candidate's qualifications and experience before deciding whether to invite them for an in-person interview.

However, there are some drawbacks to this approach. The recruiter often spends a significant portion of their daily activity manually calling the candidate and shortlisting the interested and valid candidates for the job. This process takes a longer time and is very stressful for the recruiter. The recruiter is further restricted by business hours, making it difficult to call the potential candidate during off-business and weekends.

One of the inventions disclosed in the prior art AU2020396798A1 relates to a digital recruitment system and a method to enable a candidate to create, edit, and upload a multimedia comprising a job application containing video, audio etc. in one or more sections to apply for a job is provided. Further, the system allows the candidate and recruiter(s) to exchange information via videos (or multimedia), video chats, audio chats, etc. The system protects a job application and/or a multimedia response from the recruiter from editing by a third person other than an owner, wherein the candidate is the owner of the job application and the recruiter is the owner of the multimedia response. The system may embed time and location information into the multimedia, allowing the users (candidates and recruiters) to generate authentic multimedia.

One of the major drawbacks for Job seekers is that they often encounter challenges when working with multimedia components while creating, viewing, or uploading job applications. This can be due to various factors, such as technical glitches, compatibility issues, or problems with internet connectivity. These hurdles can hurt both users and the recruitment process as a whole.

OBJECT OF INVENTION:

The principal object of the present invention is to overcome all the mentioned and existing drawbacks of the prior arts by providing an AI-based smart recruiter assistant for screening the candidate for the job.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant that significantly reduces the time and effort spent by recruiters on routine and monotonous calls.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant in which an AI-powered voice assistant can help with the challenges of pre-screening candidates by automating the call.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant that helps in reaching out to a large number of candidates, which is a sluggish procedure.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant to reach out to candidates during off-business hours and weekends.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant that identifies the interested candidate from the applied candidate.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant, which speeds up the time to recruitment by ten times.

The present invention is all about an AI-based smart recruiter assistant.

The main aspect of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant for recruiters, which consists of an AI-powered voice assistant built to help recruiters make pre-screening calls.

Another aspect of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant which helps recruiters find interested candidates.

Another aspect of the present invention is to provide an AI-based smart recruiter assistant, which is reaching out to candidates during off-business hours and weekends, which is impossible for a recruiter.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention overcomes the aforesaid drawbacks of the above, and other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will now be described in greater detail. Also, the following description includes various details and is regarded as merely exemplary. Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure and its various embodiments, there may be any number of changes and modifications described herein.

According to one embodiment, the present invention discloses an AI-based smart recruiter with a recruitment tool that screens candidates for the job, reducing the recruitment time and making the process easier for recruiters.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, AI-based smart recruiter assistant system comprising:
a frontend-backend system, configured to interface with users, provide interactive job search and recruitment functionalities, and manage data communication between the frontend user interface and backend processing modules;
a call manager system, configured to handle and manage incoming and outgoing recruitment-related calls, track communication events, and integrate with the system to enable interaction with job candidates;
a conversational AI system, configured to interact with users through natural language processing, conduct recruitment-related conversations, gather user information, and provide feedback based on predefined recruitment criteria;
an AI models, trained to evaluate candidate profiles, predict job suitability, rank candidates, and assist in decision-making during the recruitment process based on historical data and machine learning techniques;
a transcription manager system, configured to record, transcribe, and analyze voice communications during recruitment processes, and integrate transcriptions into the data storage for future reference and analysis;
a data storage system, configured to store user profiles, candidate information, conversation logs, transcriptions, recruitment data, and other related information for retrieval, processing, and decision-making, as shown in the block diagram shown in Fig. 1.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said AI-based smart recruiter assistant for automating the recruitment process, the method comprising:
providing an AI-based recruitment assistant for recruiters to assist in the recruitment process,
making pre-screening calls to candidates using the AI-based recruitment assistant to automate the initial screening process,
selecting interested candidates based on the pre-screening calls using the AI-based recruitment assistant,
shortlisting the candidates for the job using the AI-based recruitment assistant to narrow down the pool of candidates,
reaching out to candidates during off-business hours and weekends using the AI-based recruitment assistant to contact candidates outside of regular working hours.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, the frontend system is mainly used to send questions and requests and receive data from the host system. It serves or allows users to interact with and use an information system. The front-end systems have minimal computational or business logic processing capabilities and are based on the data and functions of the host system.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said backend serves as the backbone of a company or website, effectively managing data collected from users and other processing systems.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said front-end and said back-end systems are the starting and ending points of any software or network processing system. The front end of the application receives direct input from the user, and the back end collects and manages the data entered by the user.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, the call management system being capable of managing the calls. The advanced call management system of the proposed invention has revolutionised the way to contact candidates. The AI-based call management system manages the AI-powered calling system's initiation, routing and monitoring.

As per a detailed embodiment of the present invention, a conversational AI refers to the system or module that facilitates communication between candidates and an AI. It allows for more natural and intuitive communication between candidates and machines, improving efficiency and user experience. This module engages candidates in genuine and informative conversations about job descriptions, responsibilities, and organizational culture. It extracts relevant information from the candidate’s responses and asks for more details.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said AI module is integrated into the system because to measure the sentiment and interest of the candidates accurately, it uses advanced natural language processing and audio processing techniques to analyse candidate's voice cues, tone and word choice, thereby determining their enthusiasm and aptitude for the job.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, a transcription technology being capable of converting human speech into written text, providing a more efficient and accurate way of transcribing important audio and visual content. These transcriptions serve as valuable references for recruiters to gain insights into candidate interactions and aid in decision-making processes.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said generative AI summaries have been generated from the transcribing process of recruitment, providing recruiters’ visualization platform that can be employed to review and select the most suitable candidate for a job. With the help of AI-based assistants, recruiters can now make informed decisions based on objective data, reducing the risk of bias and increasing the overall efficiency of the recruitment process.

As per the detailed embodiment of the present invention, said AI-based smart recruiter assistant being capable of analysing the sentiment of candidates. This allows for valuable insight into the candidate's personality traits and work ethic, which in turn can aid in making a more informed decision. The advanced analysis capabilities of the AI-powered recruiter can significantly expedite the recruitment process, reducing it by up to ten times. This efficiency level can save recruiters and their companies significant time and resources, ultimately leading to increased success.

Using an AI-based smart recruiter assistant has proven highly beneficial for recruiters. This step is foundational in the context of the AI-based smart recruiter assistant, which is designed to streamline and enhance the recruitment process through automation and advanced AI capabilities.

making pre-screening calls to candidates using the AI-based recruitment assistant to automate the initial screening process,
selecting interested candidates based on the pre-screening calls using the AI-based recruitment assistant,
shortlisting the candidates for the job using the AI-based recruitment assistant to narrow down the pool of candidates,
reaching out to candidates during off-business hours and weekends using the AI-based recruitment assistant to contact candidates outside of regular working hours.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI-based recruitment assistant comprises an AI-powered voice assistant for making the pre-screening calls.

3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI-based recruitment assistant uses natural language processing and audio processing techniques to measure the sentiment and interest of the candidates during the pre-screening calls.

4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI-based recruitment assistant generates summaries of the pre-screening calls using generative AI to provide recruiters with a visualization platform to review and select the most suitable candidates.

10. An AI-based smart recruiter assistant system comprising:
a frontend-backend system, configured to interface with users, provide interactive job search and recruitment functionalities, and manage data communication between the frontend user interface and backend processing modules;
a call manager system, configured to handle and manage incoming and outgoing recruitment-related calls, track communication events, and integrate with the system to enable interaction with job candidates;
a conversational AI system, configured to interact with users through natural language processing, conduct recruitment-related conversations, gather user information, and provide feedback based on predefined recruitment criteria;
an AI models, trained to evaluate candidate profiles, predict job suitability, rank candidates, and assist in decision-making during the recruitment process based on historical data and machine learning techniques;
a transcription manager system, configured to record, transcribe, and analyze voice communications during recruitment processes, and integrate transcriptions into the data storage for future reference and analysis;
a data storage system, configured to store user profiles, candidate information, conversation logs, transcriptions, recruitment data, and other related information for retrieval, processing, and decision-making.
