Abstract: TITLE: “A LEAF SPRING FOR A SUSPENSION SYSTEM” ABSTRACT A leaf spring (106) for a suspension system (200) of a vehicle (500) is disclosed. The leaf spring (106) includes a body (10) having a first end (10a) and a second end (10b), opposite to the first end (10a), The body (10) is defined with a first leaf eye (102) at the first end (10a) and a second leaf eye (104) at the second end (10b). A first section (10c) curves from the first leaf eye (102), towards the second leaf eye (104), and a second section (10d) curves from the second leaf eye (104), towards the first leaf eye (102) for a predefined length (D). A third section (10e) extends arcuately from the first section (10c) and the second section (10d), and is elevated for a predefined height (A) relative to the first and the second section. Further, a fourth section (10f) curves between the third section (10e). Figure 2 is a representative figure.

TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] Present disclosure relates to a field of automobiles. Particularly, but not exclusively,
the present disclosure relates to a suspension system of a vehicle. Further, embodiments of the
present disclosure discloses a leaf spring assembly for the suspension system of the vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
[002] Generally, vehicles are equipped with suspension systems to act as a shock-absorbing
means. The suspension system includes a leaf spring assembly coupled to chassis and axle of
the vehicle. The purpose of the suspension system is to isolate passengers from undulations of
the road and impending shocks and vibrations arising from going over the undulations, making
the ride more comfortable. The suspension system further keeps tires/wheels of the vehicle in
contact with the road and controls wear and tear of the tyres. Furthermore, the suspension
system helps in providing stability to the vehicle along with good handling characteristics.
[003] Generally, in the leaf spring assembly, a top leaf spring originates tangentially from
leaf eyes and follows a predefined arc path. However, in such leaf spring assembly, some of
the suspension characteristics may disrupt the handling characteristics of the vehicle in the
events of turning/banking, braking and pitching movements of the vehicle. One of the
suspension characteristics which disrupts on braking is brake steering, where the vehicle itself
steers on braking and can be a major cause for life threatening accidents on roads, when brakes
are applied at high speeds. Generally, during the events of t
