Abstract: ABSTRACT VEHICLE LAYOUT FOR CARGO VEHICLE The present invention discloses a vehicle layout to maximize the utilization of space into a loading tray of three wheeler cargo vehicle. This involve a combination of cargo arrangement and modification in the various vehicle components, according to the requirement of a consumer. Furthermore, the invention becomes efficient by maximizing the cargo space while maintaining safety. The layout incorporates a combination of structural modification and ergonomic consideration to achieve a significant increase in cargo capacity compared to conventional cargo vehicles. Figure 1

DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a vehicle layout of three wheeler. Particularly, the present invention relates to the vehicle layout which offers a maximum utilization of loading tray space of cargo vehicle where all the components are placed ergonomically to improve the vehicle efficiency and increase the vehicle loading capacity.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] Automobile engineering is a branch of engineering which includes developing and manufacturing vehicles as well as mechanism and design of the vehicles. Automotive engineering includes modification, manufacturing, and design of vehicles. It also includes assembling the parts of automobiles, application of mathematical models and formulas. The transportation of goods and materials is a fundamental aspects of modern world. Wherein, the cargo vehicles plays a very important role in this process.

[003] Conventionally, cargo vehicle designs often suffer inefficient space utilization, resulting unused space within the vehicle’s interior. This inefficiency translates into a reduction of cargo carrying space of the vehicle and increase transportation cost.

[004] Therefore, keeping in view the problem associated with the state of the art there is a need for an improved layout structure for three wheeler electric vehicle for carrying more load while also maintaining the efficiency of the vehicle.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[005] The primary objective of the present invention is to increase the loading capacity of three wheeler cargo vehicle.

[006] Another objective of the present invention is to utilize maximum space of three wheeler vehicle.

[007] Another objective of the present invention is to increase area of cross-section of loading tray.

[008] Another objective of the present invention is to increase workability of three wheeler vehicle.

[009] Yet another objective of the present invention is to reduce transportation cost of goods.

[010] Another objective of the present invention is to locate center of gravity near to ladder chassis to improve stability while transportation.

[011] Other objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[012] The present invention is related to an arrangement of vehicle layout. The arrangement of vehicle layout increases space of loading tray. The present invention addresses the limitations of conventional cargo designs by introducing a space efficient layout that utilize the space available within the vehicle. The loading tray is leveled to minimize movement of cargo during transportation and enhances the layout strategies to maximize the utilization of loading tray and ensures safe and productive transportation of goods.

[014] Figure 1 illustrates an overview of three wheeler cargo vehicle along with its components.

[015] Figure 2 shows extended wheelbase.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[016] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system with reference to the accompanying figures. In the figures, similar symbols identify similar components, unless context dictates otherwise. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which have not been contemplated herein.

[017] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.

[018] Features that are described and/or illustrated with respect to one embodiment may be used in the same way or in a similar way in one or more other embodiments and/or in combination with or instead of the features of the other embodiments.

[021] It should be emphasized that the term “comprises/comprising” when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, steps or components but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps, components or groups thereof.

[022] The present invention relates to a vehicle layout of three wheeler vehicle. Particularly, the present invention relates to the vehicle layout which offers a maximum utilization of loading tray space of cargo vehicle where all the components are placed ergonomically to improve the vehicle efficiency and increase the vehicle loading capacity.

[023] In an exemplary embodiment, the cargo loading tray is designed to accommodate various cargo of different shapes and sizes effectively.

[024] In an embodiment, the vehicle layout can be implemented in a various vehicles. In an exemplary embodiment, the dimensions and configurations of the cargo compartments varies depending on the size and type of the vehicle, where the principles of the configuration remains the same.

[025] In an embodiment, the layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle (20), comprises a first portion (21), comprises, a front facia (01); a front glass (02) installed on the front facia (01); a front head lamp (03) installed on the front facia (01); a front mudguard (04) installed on the lowest portion of the front facia (01); a second portion (22), comprises, a driver compartment (23) comprising a driver seat (07); a cargo compartment (24) comprising a loading ramp (12); the loading ramp (12), comprises, a loading tray (13) bolted to the loading ramp (12); a rear box (14) installed in the loading ramp (12); a spare wheel (15) placed on the loading ramp (12); a tail lamp (16) installed at the backside of the loading ramp (12); a middle support (05) arranged between the driver compartment (23) and the cargo compartment (24); a soft top (06) located at the top of the middle support (05); a battery (08), a motor (09) and a gear box (10) located in the proximity of a controller; a handlebar (11) connected with a ladder type chassis (18) provided at the base of the three-wheeler cargo vehicle; a suspension assembly (17) having a trailing arm and a rear suspension connected with the chassis; a ladder type chassis (18) provided at the base of the three-wheeler cargo vehicle; and a braking assembly (19) comprising front fork, front suspension, and brake connected to the ladder type chassis.

[026] In a preferred embodiment, the layout of three wheeler vehicle comprising a gear box, battery and motor are located in proximity i.e. below the controller and nearer to center of gravity of vehicle, which helps the manufacturer to maximize the height of the loading tray to carry weight up to 500kg, having cross sectional area of 1800x1300x1600mm, and a volume of 132 ft3.

[027] In another embodiment, the two parts of vehicle i.e. A & B as shown in figure 2. The adjustment in chassis design is made in such a way that if the chassis is reduced by 150mm then it will used in its passenger version to build another vehicle variant.

[028] The present invention efficiently utilizes the cargo space, through:

a) Extended wheelbase: In the present invention the length of a wheelbase is increased to 150mm and 2195mm wheel base for increasing the cargo space of the vehicle.

b) Flat cargo floor: The floor of the said cargo floor is flat to maximize the unused space.

c) Square cargo area: The vehicle layout is configured to provide a rectangular cargo space of 132 ft3 to efficiently pack cargo and minimize wasted space.

[029] The present invention offers a numerous benefits for transportation:

a) The retractable rear loading ramp makes loading and unloading of cargos easy and convenient.
b) The modular cargo area and retractable rear loading ramp make the vehicle versatile and capable of handling a variety of cargo size and shapes.

[030] The layout of cargo vehicle is versatile and efficient solution for transporting goods and materials. The layout of three wheeler vehicle is designed to provide as much as possible space for cargo while still maintaining a compactness of the vehicle. This makes this vehicle a best transportation option amongst the transporters.

[031] While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but, on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the scope of the appended claims.
,CLAIMS:WE CLAIM:
1. A layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle (20), comprising:
• a first portion (21), comprising,
o a front facia (01);
o a front glass (02) installed on the front facia (01);
o a front head lamp (03) installed on the front facia (01);
o a front mudguard (04) installed on the lowest portion of the front facia (01);
• a second portion (22), comprising,
o a driver compartment (23) comprising a driver seat (07);
o a cargo compartment (24) comprising a loading ramp (12);
o the loading ramp (12), comprising,
? a loading tray (13) bolted to the loading ramp (12);
? a rear box (14) installed in the loading ramp (12);
? a spare wheel (15) placed on the loading ramp (12);
o a tail lamp (16) installed at the backside of the loading ramp (12);a middle support (05) arranged between the driver compartment (23) and the cargo compartment (24);
o a soft top (06) located at the top of the middle support (05);
o a battery (08), a motor (09) and a gear box (10) located in the proximity of a controller;
o a handlebar (11) connected with a ladder type chassis (18) provided at the base of the three-wheeler cargo vehicle;
• a suspension assembly (17) having a trailing arm and a rear suspension connected with the chassis; and
• a braking assembly (19) comprising front fork, front suspension, and brake connected to the ladder type chassis,
wherein,
o the battery (08), the motor (09) and the gear box (10) located near to the center of gravity of vehicle to maximize the height of the loading tray.

2. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the layout offers a maximum utilization of the loading tray space of cargo vehicle and place the components ergonomically to improve the vehicle efficiency and loading capacity.

3. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the loading tray (13) carry weight up to 500kg.

4. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the layout provides a rectangular cargo space of 132 ft3 to efficiently pack cargo and minimize wasted space.

5. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the loading tray is designed to accommodate various cargo of different shapes and sizes.

6. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the layout is space efficient that utilizes the space available within the vehicle.

7. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the center of gravity is located near the ladder chassis to improve stability during transportation.

8. The layout of three-wheeler cargo vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the loading tray is leveled to minimize the movement of cargo during transportation.
