BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] Three-wheeler vehicles are considered to one of the widely used mode of transportation for the fuel efficiency and agility. Further, the three-wheeler electric vehicles are known for their applicability in cases of confined areas and to avoid any kind of delay, in a case of flat wheel, extra spare wheel is very essential accessory for any kind of vehicle.

[003] Spare wheels have been used since the invention of automobile. In early days, spare wheels were often mounted on the outside of the car. Conventionally, spare wheels are mounted outside the three wheeler as well as in some cases they may kept inside but it’s difficult for the drivers to access and drivers often face complexities while changing wheel.

[004] Further, the spare wheel mounting normally done outside or the spare wheel kept inside the vehicle. It increase the possibility of theft. To overcome from this problem there is a need to develop a provision in three wheeler electric vehicle.

[005] Therefore, in order to overcome the disadvantages associated with the conventionally used spare wheel mounting. There is a need to develop a provision in three-wheeler electric vehicles for spare wheel mounting.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[006] The primary objective of the present invention is to install a holding unit to mount the spare wheel below to a rear side of the vehicle.

[007] Another objective of the present invention is to prevent the movement of spare wheel during transportation.

[008] Another objective of the present invention is to provide more luggage space.

[009] Another objective of the present invention is to provide safe and secure location to the spare wheel.

[010] Another objective of the present invention is to provide easy access of the spare wheel to a driver/user when it is needed.

[011] Another objective of the present invention is to provide safe compartment to the controller and secure it from dirt and dust.

[012] Another objective of the present invention is to improve accessibility of spare wheel for the driver and denial the access of thieves.

[013] Other objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[014] The present invention relates to the spare wheel mounting arrangement (100) of three wheeler vehicle, comprising: a rear box (102); a mounting plate (104) connected to the bottom surface of the rear box (102) through fasteners, a spare wheel (106) remotely mounted over on the mounting plate (104), a pair of rods (108) affixed parallelly on the rear box (102) to support the spare wheel through fasteners (110); and a controller (112) installed inside the rear box (102) to prevent damage from dirt and dust, thereby providing safety to spare wheel.
