Abstract: ABSTRACT FRONT FACIA MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT ON A THREE WHEELER VEHICLE The present invention relates to the front facia (001) mounting arrangement on a three wheeler vehicle. Said front facia mounting arrangement are arranged such that the front facia metal sheet and chassis (002) of three-wheeler are immovably attached with each other with the help of fastening means, such means not limited to, nut and bolt assembly. The said arrangement by said means reduces the manufacturing, transportation, and tooling cost. Additionally, the arrangement plays a crucial role and ensures both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity. Figure 1

DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION

[001] The present invention relates to the field of automobile industry. Particularly, the present invention relates to the field of three wheeler vehicles. More particularly, the present invention relates to the front facia mounting arrangement for a three wheeler vehicle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] In the dynamic landscape of modern technology, three-wheeler vehicles are widely used across many countries, including India. Semi monocoque chassis refers to “a stressed shell structure that is same as true monocoque”, which derives some of its strength from conventional reinforcement A semi monocoque chassis is commonly used in motorcycles, scooters and three-wheeler vehicle. It is a hybrid design that combines the strength and rigidity of a monocoque chassis with the simplicity and cost effectiveness of a tubular frame chassis.

[003] Conventionally, the front facia and chassis frame are welded together to create a complete structure. This causes high manufacturing cost, high transporting cost and high tooling cost.

[004] Therefore, keeping in view the problem associated with the state of the art there is a need for an improved monocoque structure for three-wheeler electric vehicle.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[005] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide strength and stylish look to the vehicle.

[006] Another object of the present invention is to reduce manufacturing costs associated with the production of three-wheeler vehicle.

[007] Yet another objective of the present invention is to reduce the transportation cost associated in the manufacturing of three-wheeler vehicles.

[008] Yet another objective of the present invention is to reduce tooling cost associated in building a component of three-wheeler vehicle.

[009] Another objective of the present invention is to enhance the visual appearance of three-wheeler vehicles.

[010] Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide better strength to the front portion of the vehicle.

[011] Other objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[012] The present invention relates to the front facia mounting arrangement on a three wheeler vehicle. Said front facia mounting arrangement are arranged such that the front facia metal sheet and ladder chassis of three-wheeler are immovably attached with each other with the help of fastening means, such means not limited to, nut and bolt assembly. The said arrangement by said means reduces the manufacturing, transportation, and tooling cost. Additionally, the arrangement plays a crucial role and ensures both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity.

[013] The present invention will be better understood after reading the following detailed description of the presently preferred aspects thereof with reference to the appended drawings, in which the features, other aspects and advantages of certain exemplary embodiments of the invention will be more apparent from the accompanying drawing in which:

[015] Figure 2 illustrates perspective view of cross member assembly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[016] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system with reference to the accompanying figures. In the figures, similar symbols identify similar components, unless context dictates otherwise. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which have not been contemplated herein.

[017] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.

[018] Features that are described and/or illustrated with respect to one embodiment may be used in the same way or in a similar way in one or more other embodiments and/or in combination with or instead of the features of the other embodiments.

[019] The terms and words used in the following description are not limited to the bibliographical meanings, but, are merely used to enable a clear and consistent understanding of the invention. Accordingly, it should be apparent to those skilled in the art that the following description of exemplary embodiments of the present invention are provided for illustrative purpose only and not for the purpose of limiting the invention.

[020] It is to be understood that the singular forms “a”, “an” and “the” include plural referents unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.

[021] It should be emphasized that the term “comprises/comprising” when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, steps or components but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps, components or groups thereof.

[022] Accordingly, the present invention relates to a front facia (001) mounting arrangement on a semi monocoque type chassis (002) of a three-wheeler vehicle.

[023] In an embodiment, the present invention discloses an arrangement of front facia (001) mounting arrangement on a semi monocoque type chassis (002) that is advantageous over the conventional semi monocoque chassis.

[024] In another embodiment, the objective of the present invention is achieved with the help of fastening means, such means not limited to, nut and bolt assembly, to connect front facia (001) and said semi monocoque type chassis (002). Said means ensure a strong and durable connection between the front facia (001) and chassis (002) frame, while maintaining a smooth and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The mounting arrangement provides easy assembling and dissembling of the front facia mounting arrangement.

[025] In another embodiment, the structure of front facia (001) is a curved structure that absorb impact energy and offers a better aerodynamic structure as compared to other vehicles and also reduce the force transfer to the chassis (002) frame and occupants, in case of a collision.

[026] In another embodiment, a cross member (003) assembly is located on the inner side of a headlight (005) that supports and hold front facia (001) with the chassis (002). Said cross member (003) is an essential component of vehicle construction. Said cross member (003) offers strength, rigidity and safety to the vehicle. Said cross member (003) is important in the event of accident and also helps to improve the handling of the vehicle by stiffening the frame and reducing flex.

[027] In another embodiment, two coupling holes (004) may be present on left and right side of a chassis (002) respectively, to immovably connect the chassis (002) to the front facia (001) by the help of fastening means.

[028] The present arrangement of a front facia (001) and the chassis (002) encompasses various advantages to ensure its effectiveness:

a. The combination of front facia (001) and chassis (002) creates a stronger and more rigid structure, enhancing overall vehicle stability and handling.

b. The use of lightweight materials for the front facia (001) can contribute to overall weight reduction, improving fuel efficiency and performance.

c. The integrated design of front facia (001) also helps in streamline airflow, reducing aerodynamic drag.

d. The use of nuts and bolts for connection provides a cost-effective assembly method.

e. The present arrangement is used to reduce manufacturing cost, transportation cost and tooling cost.

[029] While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but, on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the scope of the appended claims.
,CLAIMS:WE CLAIM:

1. A front facia mounting arrangement of a three-wheeler vehicle, comprising:
• a front facia metal sheet (001);
• a ladder chassis (002) fixed to the front facia metal sheet (001) through fastening means;
• a plurality of coupling holes (004) formed on both left and right side of the ladder chassis (002);
• a plurality of headlights (005) attached to the front facia metal sheet (001); and
• a cross-member assembly (003) fixed to the inner side of the headlight (005).

2. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fastening means is selected from the group consisting of nut, bolt, and the like.

3. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fastening means provide a strong and durable connection between the front facia (001) and the chassis (002).

4. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the structure of front facia (001) is curved to absorb impact energy, offers a enhanced aerodynamic structure.

5. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cross member assembly (003) offers strength, rigidity and safety to the vehicle.

6. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cross member assembly (003) helps to improve the handling of the vehicle by stiffening the frame and reducing flex.

7. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mounting arrangement provides better strength to the front portion of the vehicle.

8. The front facia mounting arrangement of the three-wheeler vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mounting arrangement provides easy assembling and dissembling of the front facia mounting arrangement.
