DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD
The present disclosure relates to a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup to promote positive bone and joint health in women.

BACKGROUND
In recent times, the prevalence of poor eating habits and the consumption of unhealthy foods have raised concerns about the long-term consequences on women's health. A new global study has found that within the 17 years from the year 1999 to 2016, the proportion of overweight women aged between 20 - 49 years has more than doubled from 11.4% to 24%. The National Family Health Survey (NFHS IV 2015-16) found the prevalence of goitre or thyroid disorder in about 3.4% of women between the age group of 35-49 years.

One of the primary contributors to compromised health among women is the consumption of a diet high in processed foods, junk foods, refined sugars and saturated fats. These unhealthy eating habits lead to several health issues such as metabolic syndrome, reproductive health issues, obesity, hair loss, dull skin, poor digestion, weak immunity, poor bone health, and poor mineral and vitamin levels.

Also, the prevalence of sedentary lifestyles, coupled with the ready availability of processed, unhealthy and calorie-dense foods, has led to a surge in obesity rates among women. A report by World Obesity Federation issued in March 2023, estimates that 50% of the world`s population will be obese by 2035. As per a report by UN, the lack of a balanced diet is becoming common with 25% of the world's population not having access to safe, nutritious and/or sufficient food.

Recent studies have also shown that 20% to 30% of the adult population in most countries have metabolic syndrome, which increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, stroke and type-2 diabetes. A study by the State of the Global Workplace found that 44% of working people suffer from stress and anxiety. Furthermore, it is estimated that 40% of the world population suffers from chronic gastrointestinal problems. All the afore-mentioned health issues are further compounded and exacerbated by poor and unhealthy dietary choices.

Further, bone and joint health which is a critical aspect of overall well-being for maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, is often neglected. As women age, they face challenges related to bone and joint health, with conditions like osteoporosis becoming more prevalent. Diet is a fundamental factor influencing bone and joint health, and understanding the correlation between diet and bone health is essential for promoting long-term skeletal well-being in women. Thus, it is imperative for women to recognize the significance of nutritious dietary habits in maintaining optimal bone density and reducing the risk of fractures and osteoporosis.

There is therefore need for a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup which promotes positive bone and joint health and also helps in supporting positive health and wellness in women. The soup shall also address the challenge of incorporating medicinal herbs in the diet in a safe and effective manner, while also ensuring that the soup is appealing to the palate. There is also need for a soup which provides essential macronutrients and micronutrients, and promotes overall well-being in women. There is also need for a soup preparation which overcomes drawbacks of commercially available food items, and provides an Ayurvedic soup comprising nutritious and delicious ingredients with medicinal herbs, and eliminates the use of additives, preservatives, sugar, saturated fat and excessive sodium.

OBJECTS
Accordingly, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup which overcomes the afore-listed drawbacks of commercially available soups, and provides an Ayurvedic soup comprising nutritious and delicious ingredients with medicinal herbs which offers an effective way to promote positive bone and joint health in women and also support their overall health and wellness, and is presented in a convenient form so that it can be easily integrated into daily meals.

Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup which addresses the challenge of incorporating medicinal herbs in the diet in a safe and effective manner and provides a practical solution for women seeking to enhance their diet with herbal remedies without the bitterness or strong flavors that can be off-putting.

Yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup which eliminates the use of additives, preservatives, coloring agents, sugar, saturated fat and excessive sodium, thereby promoting overall health and well-being of women.

One more object of the present disclosure is to provide a nutritious holistic polyherbal Ayurvedic soup which supports healthy digestion and stimulates the body and mind.
