TECHNICAL FIELD
Generally, the present disclosure relates to a vehicle lighting system. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a tail lamp assembly mounting arrangement for a two wheeled vehicle.
BACKGROUND
A saddle type vehicle includes a frame assembly including a main frame extending obliquely rearward and downward from a head pipe, and a seat frame extending rearward from the main frame and supporting a riding seat and a pillion seat, wherein a front wheel is supported by a front portion of the vehicle body frame via a front fork, and a rear wheel is supported by a rear portion of the vehicle body frame via a swing arm.
The main frame of the vehicle serves as a skeletal member that enables mounting of components of the two-wheeled vehicle. Typically, the two-wheeled vehicle has a tail cover assembly having a plurality of panels assembled to a rear portion of the frame.
Conventionally, the rear portion of the saddle type vehicle is provided with a lamp unit, for example a tail lamp unit, including a housing provided with a tail lamp and a pair of winker lamps, provided on the sides of the tail lamp. Further the tail lamp unit is provided with a lens to cover the tail lamp and winker lamps. However, in conventional mounting mechanisms there exist chances of rear frame misalignment and low stability to different driving condition.
Thus, there exists a need for a tail lamp mounting mechanism that overcomes the abovementioned problems.
SUMMARY
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a tail lamp assembly mounting arrangement on a two-wheeled vehicle with proper frame alignment and improved stability to different driving conditions.
In accordance with the first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a tail lamp assembly for a two-wheeled vehicle, the assembly comprising a vehicle frame which includes a left rear tube member and a right rear tube member. Further comprises a rear cowl assembly, a lamp unit and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is mounted between the left rear tube member and the right rear tube member of the vehicle frame.
The disclosed tail lamp assembly mounting for two-wheeled vehicles provides enhanced stability and alignment. The arrangement ensures a secure fit between the left and right rear tube members. Thus, minimizing the risk of misalignment and enhancing visibility. Furthermore, the elongated mounting bracket effectively dampens vibrations and reducing mechanical stresses thus, extending the lifespan of the tail lamp. Advantageously, the compact and robust design simplifies the installation and maintenance which contributing to overall reliability and durability. Moreover, the consistent positioning of the lamp unit optimizes rear visibility, improving safety and signalling performance in various riding conditions.
Additional aspects, advantages, features, and objects of the present disclosure would be made apparent from the drawings and the detailed description of the illustrative embodiments constructed in conjunction with the appended claims that follow.
