Abstract: In today’s world, where water scarcity is a major factor problem in India, combined with the fact that ours is a developing and primarily agricultural nation, water is a very important necessity at all times. Due to changes in the environment as a result of global warming, rainfall is often sparse and disproportionate. This is why, our AWG will play a very crucial role in people’s homes by providing clean and purified water directly from the surrounding atmosphere, even at places where moisture is low and rainfall is sparse. This patent talks about the functionality, working and the immense advantages that our Atmospheric Water Harvester provides.
DESC:The Atmospheric Water Collector Unit can be designed with a portable solar panel array or for a Static Application powered via the AC distribution grid as is clearly shown in fig 1.2 and 1.1 respectively. Apart from that, it uses a 1 litre Compressor which has a narrow Capillary Intake to store surrounding air which is then further released into an insulated container containing a 2 litre Copper Collector wound by Copper Coils for faster Condensation which is due to the adiabatic expansion of the output air of the condenser resulting in a considerable Temperature drop in the air. Causing the moisture to change into a lower energy liquid state collected in the jar. The water contained initially is frozen along the surface of the collector, which is why air intake fans are used to increase the water collection rate from ice.
Fig 1.3 gives us the home profile of the associated application which lists the temperature of the collected information which will be transmitted by means of the temperature sensor, the humidity level, the amount of water filled indicated by means of the information provided by the water level sensor and the current status of the battery and the power supply. ,CLAIMS:We Claim:
1) IOT based system allowing both manual and remote access.
2) Provision of a solar powered battery to increase range of operation and functionality.
3) Temperature sensor to detect the temperature of water collected.
4) Provision for water level monitoring.
