A System For Conducting Formability Test Of A Sample

Abstract: A system (100) for conducting formability test of a sample (4) is disclosed. The system (100) includes a support block (6) defined with a top face (6a) for receiving the sample (4) and a front face (6b) that is defined with a first opening (7). A first member (8) is provided and is traversable along a horizontal axis (B-B) within the first opening (7). Further, a second member (10) is movably positioned within the support block (6) and is slidably coupled to the first member (8). The second member (10) is configured to slide along a vertical axis (A-A) for deforming the sample (4). Further, a plate (1) is removably positioned on the top face (6a) and encloses a portion of the sample (4). The plate (1) is defined with a provision (2), providing a viewing region for observing the deformation of the sample (4) to conduct the formability test. Figure 1 is the representative figure.
