A Cold Rolled High Strength Steel Sheet And A Method Of Manufacturing Thereof

Abstract: TITLE: “A COLD ROLLED HIGH STRENGTH STEEL SHEET AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF” ABSTRACT The present disclosure discloses a method for manufacturing a cold rolled high strength steel sheet. The method includes casting a steel slab of desired composition, heating the steel slab to a first predetermined temperature for a first predetermined time and subjecting the steel slab to a hot working process for reducing thickness to a first predetermined thickness. Further the method includes cold working the steel sheet for reducing thickness of the steel slab to a second predetermined thickness. Furthermore, the method includes heating the steel sheet to a second predetermined temperature for a second predetermined time and quench the steel sheet to a third predetermined temperature for a third predetermined time at a predetermined rate. Additionally, the method includes partitioning the steel sheet at a fourth predetermined temperature for a fourth predetermined time and cool to a room temperature to obtain the cold rolled high strength steel sheet. The cold rolled high strength steel sheet consists a microstructure comprising retained austenite, ferrite and martensite. Figure. 1 is a reference figure
