Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to a high-tension line discharging device and
it is a self-locking spring controlled device used for discharging static electrical
energy from high tension line before working any maintenance work.
5 BACKGROUND
A high-tension line discharging device is a device designed to discharge or
eliminate the static electricity and voltage build-up on high tension power lines.
High tension power lines carry a high voltage electrical current over long distances,
and they are vital for transmitting electricity from power plants to homes,
10 businesses, and industries. The HT line requires regular preventive maintenance.
After isolation of line, the static electrical energy is remaining present which is a
hazards for severe electrocution if it is not discharged properly. To address these
issues, high tension line discharging devices have been developed. The concept of
high tension line discharging devices has been around for decades, but early designs
15 were often unreliable and inefficient. In recent years, advancements in technology
and materials have led to the development of more effective and efficient
discharging devices. High tension line discharging devices work by using a
combination of corona discharge and conductive materials to eliminate the static
electricity and voltage build-up on the power lines. The development of high
20 tension line discharging devices has been driven by the need to ensure the reliable
and safe operation of high tension power lines. As electricity demand continues to
grow, high tension power lines will continue to play a crucial role in our power
infrastructure, and the development of more effective and efficient discharging
devices will remain an important area of research and development.
