“A Mechanism For Centering A Coupler Of A Rolling Stock”
Abstract: TITLE: “A MECHANISM FOR CENTERING A COUPLER OF A ROLLING STOCK” ABSTRACT Present disclosure discloses a mechanism for centering a coupler of a rolling stock. The mechanism includes a shaft that is rotatable between a first position and a second position. Further, the mechanism includes a first lever and a second lever defined on a portion of the shaft and extending upwardly from the shaft. Furthermore, the mechanism includes a first chain, extending between the first lever and one side of the coupler, proximal to the first lever, and a second chain, extending between the second lever and other side of the coupler, proximal to the second lever. The first chain and the second chain selectively tighten and slack, corresponding to the rotation of the shaft from the first position to the second position for centering the coupler. The mechanism aids in effortless and easy centering of the coupler without need of the operator to go in vicinity of coupler. Figure. 1 is a representative figure.
