Abstract: ABSTRACT “MAX-phase Stabilized Mn-based Nanocatalyst and Method For Preparation Thereof” The present invention relates to metal oxide nanoparticles which are supported on 2-dimentional MAX phase. Metal oxide nanoparticles is selected from Mn-MOF and the MAX phase is Ti3AlC2. The catalyst is useful for various organic reactions, especially for hydrogen (auto)-transfer reactions. The catalyst is recoverable and reusable for conversion reactions. Further the present invention provides a simple and efficient method for the formation of metal oxide nanoparticles on the surface of the MAX phase.
