A Bio Reinforced Composite Material

Abstract: TITLE: “A BIO-REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL” ABSTRACT The present disclosure discloses a bio-reinforced composite material (100). The composite material (100) comprises a core portion (101) comprising a plurality of layers of a first material 5 (104) stacked one upon another. A cover portion (102) is disclosed in the composite material (100) and assembled to sandwich the core portion (101) with a top layer (102-B) and bottom layer (102-A) of the cover portion (102). The cover portion (102) comprises a plurality of layers of a second material (103). A nano clay material (105) is disclosed and dispersed uniformly across all the plurality of layers of the first material (104) and the second material (103), 10 wherein the nano clay material (105) is configured to provide flexural strength to the composite material (100). The composite material (100) of the present disclosure demonstrates higher flexural stiffness, specific flexural stiffness, and global deformation in comparison to conventional materials.
