A System For Dislodging A Slag Pot From A Transport Carrier

Abstract: A SYSTEM FOR DISLODGING A SLAG POT FROM A TRANSPORT CARRIER Present disclosure relates to a system (100) for dislodging a slag pot (102) from a transport carrier (200). The system comprises at least two flanges (104) radially extending from a peripheral surface of the slag pot. A support structure (108) positioned proximate to a bottom portion (102b) of the slag pot. A base (110) mounted above the support structure and configured to support a bottom portion of the slag pot. At least one lifting plate (112) is receivable within the at least two flanges and is upwardly displaceable to lift the slag pot. At least two lifting units (114) are positioned on the base to upwardly displace the at least one lifting plate to lift the slag pot relative to the base. A collar (120) is configured to hold the slag pot circumferentially and connectable to a hoisting unit configured to dislodge the slag pot from the transport carrier.
