A Substrate Bonding Apparatus And A Method Thereof

Abstract: A SUBSTRATE BONDING APPARATUS AND A METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT The present disclosure provides a substrate bonding apparatus (100). The substrate bonding apparatus includes a substrate fixture (102), a pressing unit (106), and control circuitry (114) operatively 5 coupled to the pressing unit. The substrate fixture includes at least one substrate joint provision (202). The substrate fixture accommodates at least one first substrate (204) and at least one second substrate (206) in the at least one substrate joint provision. The pressing unit includes a pressing plate (108). The control circuitry operates the pressing unit for a predefined 10 time to apply force via the pressing plate onto the at least one first substrate and the at least one second substrate accommodated in the substrate fixture. Further, applying force by operating the pressing unit for the predefined time results in a homogenous bondline thickness at a bonding area (502) between the at least one first substrate and the at least one second substrate. 15 Figure 1
