We claim:
1. A mechanism for switch guard cover assembly to prevent inadvertent operation, comprising:
- a side cover (3), wherein said side cover is bent with relief;
- a top guard cover (2), wherein, a cutout of required diameter is provided in the top guard cover to enable adequate visibility of the switch position to the operator from the desired angle of view;
- a housing cover as shown in figure 2, such that the bottom flange of the housing cover is provided with a cutout of desired diameter to accommodate the switch and the four mounting holes that are made in the flange for mounting the side cover to the mounting plate;
- a cover (4), made of suitable material, such that the cover is glued to the top plate to provide transparency through the top guard cover;
- a spring (6);
- a plurality of side flaps (5), such that the flaps provide for mounting holes for mounting of the spring; and
- a switch (1), such that the switch along with the housing cover and top cover guard assembly is mounted to the mounting plate.using operable connections.
2. The mechanism for switch guard cover assembly to prevent inadvertent operation, as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, in the present embodiment, the cover (4) is made of acrylic and the top guard cover (2) is made of stainless steel sheet of suitable thickness to make the top cover transparent to the operator
