A Timepiece

Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: “A TIMEPIECE” A timepiece is disclosed. The timepiece (100) comprises a bi-directional micromotor (15) structured to receive a gear train (12), wherein the bi-direction micromotor being configured to power the gear train. A transceiver (8) disposed on a top surface (15a) and a bottom surface (15b) of the bi-directional micromotor sandwiching the bi-directional micromotor therebetween. A control unit being communicatively coupled to the transceiver, the control unit configured to trigger the transceiver disposed on at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the bi-directional micromotor (15) to emit a light beam. Determine positioning of the gear train in the bidirectional micromotor based on the light beam emitted and received by the transceiver. Detect skipped pulses based on the positioning of the gear train and compare the skipped pulses with an internal clock of the timepiece. Determine a correction pulse to compensate the skipped pulses thereby calibrating the timepiece. Fig. 1 is the representative figure.
