Generating Mesh For Computer Aided Design Model Of An Object

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method and system for generating a mesh by a system. The method includes storing a plurality of mesh configurations each of which includes a plurality of predefined geometric features to generate standard mesh across different users, receiving data of a CAD model of an object, and receiving the user input to generate the mesh from the displayed graphical user interface. The user input includes a body type of the mesh to be generated, a global size of the mesh to be generated, and a mesh configuration selected from the plurality of mesh configurations. Further, the method includes generating the mesh for the model based on the plurality of predefined geometric features of the selected mesh configuration for the model, the body type and the global size.
