Synchronous Lubrication System For Mold Height Adjustment Mechanism In Tire Curing Press And Method Thereof

Abstract: A synchronous lubrication system for a mold height adjustment mechanism (109) of a tire curing press (10) comprises a steam chamber assembly in which the mold of the tire to be cured in placed. The mold height adjustment mechanism provided on a top half steam chamber (11). The mold height adjustment mechanism comprises a screw (110), a nut and gear (111) and a platen (112) on the top half steam chamber. A first motor (101) for screwing and unscrewing the nut and gear. A scale tube (106) reciprocates up and down as unscrewing and screwing of the nut and gear, respectively. A second motor (102) supplying lubricant through a first lubricating connection line (104) and a second lubricating connection line (105) to lubricate the threaded contact between the screw, the nut and gear and the platen. A HMI control system controlling the system from ON state to OFF state and vice versa. In ON state, the second motor is operated simultaneously with the first motor to synchronously lubricate the mold height adjustment mechanism. [Figure 1]
