System And Method For Monitoring Tyre Pressure Of Vehicle

Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING TYRE PRESSURE OF VEHICLE ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a system (100) for monitoring the tire pressure of a vehicle, comprising a tire pressure sensor located within the tire of the vehicle, responsible for measuring the air pressure inside the tire. Additionally, a display unit (106) is positioned on the vehicle’s dashboard within visual proximity of the user, exhibiting the measured air pressure. A control unit (104), in communication with both the tire pressure sensor and the display unit (106), is configured to receive and showcase the air pressure reading. Furthermore, the control unit (104) undertakes a comparison of the received air pressure with a predefined threshold value, and in the event of a drop below this threshold, activates a sound unit (108) to alert the user. The system (100) ensures prompt awareness of tire pressure status through the user-friendly display unit (106), enhancing overall vehicle safety. Claims: 4, Figures: 3 Figure 1 is selected.

Specification

Description:BACKGROUND
Field of Invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to tyre pressure and particularly to a system for monitoring a tyre pressure of a vehicle.
Description of Related Art
[002] Tire pressure is a critical parameter affecting vehicle safety, fuel efficiency, and overall performance. Improperly inflated tires can lead to reduced traction, increased braking distances, and even tire failure. Additionally, under-inflated tires contribute to higher fuel consumption due to increased rolling resistance.
[003] Current tire pressure monitoring systems have limitations in terms of accuracy, real-time feedback, and user interaction. Traditional, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) cannot often adjust tire pressure on the fly, leaving vehicle owners with the task of manual adjustments.
[004] There is thus a need for an improved and advanced system for monitoring a tyre pressure of a vehicle that can administer the aforementioned limitations in a more efficient manner.
