The present subject matter is related to a vehicle, most specifically relates to integrated side panels for a two wheeled vehicle.
BACKGROUND

Conventionally in a saddle type vehicle (herein after “vehicle”), side panels 5 are provided to cover the chassis or the frame of the vehicle and other vehicle components, such as an engine etc. The side panels plays a crucial role in proving the good aesthetics to the vehicle and these can be customized based on the preferences of the user, also the panels serve to conceal the parts such as wire fittings, power drives, etc. of the vehicles, also prevents external impacts during an 10 accident to deform the internal vehicle components.

To cover a conventional vehicle, a plurality of panels are employed so that all inner fitment and the vehicle components are protected from environmental conditions, such as, the water, dust, mud, stones, etc. Conventionally, manufacturers face the problem of providing different panels for different locations 15 in the vehicle. The increased number of panels also necessitates fasteners, attachment provisions or brackets etc. The difficulty in assembly can lead to a more complex manufacturing process, potentially affecting production efficiency and quality of panels.

In a known art, to cover the vehicle components, more than three panels are 20 required to cover each part of the vehicle. The problem occurs at the time of assembling these parts with the vehicle such as a potential gap will be there after we assemble the separate panels to the vehicles. Due to this gap, there are chances of having the flush issues at split lines. The current design does not effectively conceal the power drive units (which can be motor or an IC engine), potentially 25

affecting the overall aesthetics of the vehicle and exposing sensitive components to
external elements, where water ingress can damage the power unit and other electrical components of the vehicle. The greater the number of parts of the panel the more chances of having complicated split lines, due to split line there are high chances of exposing the essential components to external abnormalities such as 5 mud, stones etc. which can become problematic for the rider.

In the current designs use of multiple models results in a higher number of parts, which not only complicates the assembly process but also increases the likelihood of maintenance and replacement issues. Packaging of a pillion footrest within side panels also requires multiple number of panels which will compromise 10 the safety of essential wiring and fitment requirements.

Thus, there is a need in the art for a integrated side panels which addresses at least the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION 15

In one aspect, the present invention is directed towards a two wheeled vehicle. The two wheeled vehicle having a cover assembly, the cover assembly is configured to detachably attached to a frame of the two wheeled vehicle. The cover assembly has one or more side covers. The one or more side cover comprising a plurality of portions, the plurality of portions comprising a first portion, a second 20 portion and a third portion. The first portion, the second portion and the third portion are integrated with each other. The one or more side covers is connected to the frame of the two wheeled vehicle.

The present invention relates to integrated side panels, most specifically relates to the integrated side panels for a two wheeled vehicle (herein referred as vehicle).

In the present disclosure, arrow indications provided in Figures pertain to directional indications of a cover assembly. As such, the terms “top”, “bottom”, “front” and “rear” respectively correspond to top, bottom, front and rear sides of the cover frame assembly and its associated components, until and unless specified otherwise. 5

The object of the present invention is to provide one or more side covers. The one or more side cover can be integrated to form a single integrated part which covers a major portion of a vehicle side thus reducing the number of covers.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of an exemplary cover assembly, in accordance with an embodiment of the present subject matter. In a vehicle (not 10 shown) a frame member (not shown) is provided, embodiment of the vehicle can be EV, hybrid vehicle, 2 wheeled, 3 wheeled, 4 wheeled and multi wheel. the frame member employed to hold the parts of the vehicle. The cover assembly 100 is provided to conceal the parts of the vehicle (not shown) such as chassis (not shown), power unit (can be a motor driven or an IC engine) (not shown), wire 15 fitments (not shown) etc. of the vehicle. Further, the cover assembly 100 is having a storage box 102, the storage box 102 configured to accommodate utilities of the user of the vehicle. Storage box 102 is covered with a seat 304 (as shown in figure 3). Further, a front cover 104 is provided in the cover assembly 100. The front cover 104 is manufactured in such a way that it covers a main tube (not shown) and 20 a steering tube (not shown) of the vehicle, similarly a down cover 106 is provided in the cover assembly 100. The down cover 106 is configured to conceal a down tube (not shown) and wiring fitments (not shown) which connects the cluster (not shown) to the different parts and controllers (not shown) of the vehicle.

In an embodiment, a one or more side covers (200, 200a) is provided in the cover assembly 100. The one or more side covers (200, 200a) is configured to cover a front and rear parts of the vehicle. The front and rear parts such as down tube, base tube (not shown), rear tubes (not shown), power drive units (which can be electric vehicles or conventional IC engine vehicles) or any other parts which 5 there in the vicinity of the parts provided. Further, a floorboard 112 is provided in the cover assembly 100. The footboard 112 is employed as a foot resting member for the rider. Further, a side stand 114 is provided which is configured to rest the vehicle, also a drive system covers 118 is provided in the cover assembly 100. The drive system cover 118 is employed to cover the drive chain (not 10 shown), drive system can be chain or a belt driven transmission.

Further in figure 1 a longitudinal AA axis is provided, the longitudinal AA axis is provided for the reference to the structure of the one or more side covers (200, 200a).

Referring to figure 2. a side view of an exemplary one or more side cover 15 200, 200a in accordance with an embodiment of the present subject matter. The one or more side cover 200, 200a is provided in the cover assembly 100. In an embodiment, the one or more side cover 200, 200a is configured to have a plurality of portions 202a, 208a, 210a, 202b, 208b, 210b. The plurality of portions 202a, 208a, 210a, 202b, 208b, 210b can be a first portion 202a, a second portion 20 208a and third portion 210a. further a one or more cut-outs 204a, 204b, 206 is provided on the plurality of portions 202a, 208a, 210a, 202b, 208b, 210b of the one or more side cover 200, 200a.

In an embodiment, the first portion 202a, the second portion 208a and third portion 210a are integrated with each other to form a single integrated one ore more side cover 200, 200a.

In an embodiment, the third portion 210a can be employed as a leg shield for the rider, also the second portion 208a can be employed as a side trim for a 5 two wheeled vehicle (not shown), the side trim can be adjacent to the footboard 112 of the two wheeled vehicle and the first portion 202a can be employed as a front portion of a rear side panel of the two wheeled vehicle. Referring to fig. 3. a front view of the cover assembly 100 configured with the one or more side cover 200,200a in accordance with an embodiment of the 5 present subject matter. In an embodiment, the right-side cover 200a is provided, the right-side cover 200a is configured to have a one or more cutout 204b. the one or more cutout 204b is configured to accommodate the one or more footrest 504. In an embodiment, the functionality of the left side cover 200 and the right-side cover 200a is different as cutout 206 provided in the left side cover 200 for 10 accommodation of the side stand 114.

Referring to fig. 4, in conjunction with fig.5 a plurality of holding member 402,406 is provided on to two wheeled vehicles. In an embodiment, the plurality of holding member 402, 406 can be provided onto the covers which are in the vicinity of one or more side cover 200,200a. Further, the plurality of holding member 402, 15 406 can be nut, rib, blocks etc. in an embodiment, the holding member 402, 406 is configured to hold a one or more tower 404,408 portion of a one or more attachment members 500a-500i. in an embodiment, the Mounting is provided using plastic clamping clips which do not require a tightening gun for removal. Thus, the part can be removed easily for mix and match if multiple color panels are available 20 with customer.
