The present subject matter is related to a vehicle, most specifically relates to a cover frame for a two wheeled vehicle.
BACKGROUND

Conventionally in a two wheeled vehicle (herein after “vehicle”), side 5 panels are provided to cover the chassis or the frame of the vehicle and other vehicle components, such as an engine etc. The side panels play a crucial role in proving the good aesthetics to the vehicle and these can be customized based on the preferences of the user, also the panels serve to conceal the parts such as wire fittings, power drives, etc. of the vehicles, also prevents external impacts during an 10 accident to deform the internal vehicle components.

To cover a conventional vehicle, a plurality of panels are employed so that all inner fitment and the vehicle components are protected from environmental conditions, such as, the water, dust, mud, stones, etc. In a higher cubic capacities vehicle which are specifically optimized for providing higher power and torque, 15 the rear frame of the vehicle is naked (without the rear panel) and exposed with no style parts for covering the frame of the vehicle.

In a known art, vehicles with a trellis frame do not have a style part such as panels covering the rear frame of the vehicle. in such vehicles, provisioning for the seat latch is difficult to accommodate. Moreover, when the seat lock latch is 20 provided, it is difficult to access the lock by the user for opening. Further the seat lock set is mounted on rear side cover and a portion of the seat lock set abuts with rear fender portions.

Further, the seat lock is provided on the rear fender where a rider has to get off from the seat and then it was possible to access the seat lock also sometimes it was provided on the tail cover or at center of the tail cover.

Conventionally, the pillion seat latch is accessible and rider seat is not accessible and is opened by pulling a cable. There are cover frame designs that are 5 available in the conventional assembly that have a provision to accommodate the seat lock latch into the BFFR. In most two wheelers, the rear fender is divided into the body front fender rear and the fender rear.

Thus, there is a need in the art for a seat lock set within the panels which addresses at least the aforementioned problems. 10
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In one aspect, the present invention is directed towards a two wheeled vehicle. The two wheeled vehicle comprising a front wheel, a rear wheel is disposed in line with the front wheel along a longitudinal plane of the two-wheeled 15 vehicle. A frame assembly supported by the front wheel and the rear wheel. A pair of rear tubes extending obliquely rearward from a main tube of the frame assembly. A plurality of swing arms extending from the frame assembly and the rear wheel is mounted to the plurality of swing arms. Wherein, at least one of a cover frame assembly is configured to cover the pair of rear tubes. Wherein, at 20 least one of the cover frame assembly comprising a left cover frame is detachably attached to cover a left rear tube of the pair of rear tubes, a right cover frame is detachably attached to cover a right rear tube of the pair of rear tubes.

In an embodiment of the invention, the right cover frame and the left cover frame is configured to have one or more mounting provisions to connect with the right rear tube and the left rear tube of the frame assembly.

Wherein each of the one or more cover frames is symmetrical about a longitudinal plane of the vehicle and comprising a first portion and a second portion. The object of the present invention is to provide a seat lock mounted on at least one of a cover frame assembly. At least one of the cover frame assembly being provided with the provision to accommodate the seat lock. The seat lock is 5 accommodated inside a cut out within the rear fender body of a vehicle.
[027] Figure 1. illustrates a two wheeled vehicle 100 provided with a front wheel 101 and a rear wheel 111 for keeping the vehicle moving and providing a comfortable ride. The Saddle type vehicle 100 is configured to have a front fender 102 which protects user and a front fork assembly 114 from mud, dust, and water. 10 The front fork assembly 114 provides accommodative space for steering assembly (not shown) and instrument cluster assembly (not shown) for the saddle type vehicle 100. The steering assembly is provided with the handlebar 106 being configured to maneuvering and directing the saddle type vehicle 100 in a particular direction, and a one or more side-view mirrors 104,105. Head light 103 is provided 15 with the front fork assembly 114 for safely maneuvering the saddle type vehicle 100 at nighttime or in foggy conditions. A fuel storage 107 is provided for supplying the fuel such as petrol or diesel to power drive unit 112, in an embodiment the saddle type vehicle 100 can be two wheeled, three wheeled, four wheeled and multi- wheeled vehicles. The power drive unit 112 generates power 20 which then maneuver a chain assembly 110 and then accelerate the front and rear wheel 101,111. In an embodiment, the power drive unit 112 can be electric motor, hybrid power drive or IC engine. A side panel 113 is provided with fuel tank 107 for proper transfer of heat from the power unit 112 or maybe radiator (not shown) to the atmosphere. rider and pillion. further, a rear cover 115 is provided with the saddle type vehicle 100. The rear cover 115 configured to conceal a mounting provision (not shown) of the pillion seat 109.

Referring to figure 2 in conjunction with figure 3. A frame assembly 300 is shown. The frame assembly 300 is configured to have a main tube 301. The 5 main tube 301 is configured to accommodate the fuel tank (not shown) also provided to support the power unit 112. The frame assembly 300 has a left rear tube 302 and a right rear tube 304. The left rear tube 302 and the right rear tube 304 is configured to accommodate at least one of a cover assembly 200. One or more cover frame assembly 200 is provided to the two wheeled vehicle 100. The 10 one or more cover frame assembly 200 is configured to cover a left cover rear tube 302 and a right cover rear tube 304. In an embodiment, the one or more cover frame assembly 200 is configured to have a left cover frame 202. The left cover frame 202 is configured to be detachably attached to cover the left rear tube 302 of the pair of rear tubes 302, 304. Further, a right cover frame 204 is 15 configured to cover a right rear tube 304 of the pair of rear tubes 302,304.

Further, the frame assembly 300 is configured to have a one or more mounting tubes 206a, 206b. the one or more mounting tubes 206a, 206b is configured to attach the one or more cover assembly 200 to the two wheeled vehicle 100. In an embodiment the one or more cover assembly 200 is attached to 20 the two wheeled 200 by the fasteners, welding, snap fit etc.

In an embodiment, the left cover frame 202 and the right cover 204 are configured to have similar shape and size. The left cover frame 202 and the right cover 204 both are symmetrical when viewed from the side view of the two wheeled vehicle (not shown). 25

Referring to figure. 4, the left cover frame 202 is shown. In an embodiment, The left cover frame 202 is configured to have a first portion 404 and a second portion 402. Further the second portion 402 of the left cover frame 202 is configured to connect via connecting portion 410 to the first portion 404 of the left cover frame 202. In an embodiment the first portion 404 of the left cover frame 5 202 is configured to connect via connecting portion 410 to the second portion 402 of the left cover frame 202. Further the connecting portion 410 is configured to connect the first portion 404 from one side which extends parallel to one side of first portion 404. and the second portion 402 from one side which extends parallel to one side of the second portion 402. 10

In an embodiment, the first portion 404, the second portion 402 and the connecting portion 410 are configured to operate as a single member frame. The single member frame can be directly placed to the left side rear tube 302 of the two wheeled vehicle 100.

Further, the one or more cover frames 202, 204 is configured to have a 15 slot 406. In an embodiment, the left cover frame 202 is configured to have the slot 406. The slot 406 can be provided on to the first portion 404 or on the second portion 402. In an embodiment, the slot 406 is provided on to the second portion 402 of the left cover frame 202 of the one or more cover frames 202, 204.

Further, the one or more cover frames 202, 204 is configured to have one 20 or more mounting provisions 412, 414, 416, 408. One or mounting provisions 412, 414, 416, 408 is provided to accommodate one or more attachment means (not shown). Further the one or more mounting provisions 412, 414, 416, 408 is provided to connect the connecting portion 410 to the one or more mounting tube 206a, 206b.

Referring to figure 5 in conjunction with figure 4, the slot 406 is employed to accommodate a lock 502. Lock 502 is configured to be directly accommodated 5 on to the slot 406 with that requirement of providing the slots in frame assembly 300 is taken away. In an embodiment the lock 502 is provided to disengage or engage the pillion seat 109 through a latch 508a to insert a key.

In an embodiment the one or more cover frame 202, 204 10 is connected to the frame assembly 300 though the two wheeled vehicle 100 body, further this installation will not expose the mounting provisions 412, 414, 416, 408 outside the two wheeled vehicle 100 body.

Referring to Figure 7. in conjunction with figure 8. A rear fender body 902 is provided with the two wheeled vehicle 100. The rear fender body 902 is 15 configured to have a slot to provide the adequate spacing for the lock 502. In an embodiment, the rear fender body 902 is employed to provide the gap to accommodate the one or more cover frame 200,202 to the left side rear frame 302 and the right side rear frame 304.

A two-wheeled vehicle (100) comprising:
a front wheel (101);a rear wheel (111) being disposed in line with the front wheel (101) along a longitudinal plane of the two-wheeled vehicle (100); 5
a frame assembly (300) supported by the front wheel (101) and the rear wheel (111);
a pair of rear tubes (302, 304) extending obliquely rearward from a main tube (301) of the frame assembly (300);
a plurality of swing arms (120) extending from the frame assembly (300) and 10 the rear wheel (111) being mounted to the plurality of swing arms (120);
wherein,
one or more cover frame assembly (200) being configured to cover the pair of rear tubes (302,304);

A cover frame assembly (200), the cover frame assembly (200) for a two wheeled vehicle (100) comprising:
one or more cover frames, the one or more cover frames (202, 204);
wherein each of the one or more cover frames (202, 204) being mirrored about a longitudinal plane of the vehicle and comprising: 10
a first portion (404); and
a second portion (402); the second portion (402) being configured to connect with the first portion (404)
wherein,
a slot (406) being provided to at least 15 one of the one or more portions (402, 404) of the left cover frame (202) and the right cover frame (204).

The cover assembly (200) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the slot (406) being configured to accommodate a lock (208) through at least one of the left cover 20 frame (202) or the right cover frame (204).

The cover assembly (200) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the slot (406) provided with a latch (208a) to insert a key.
