Abstract: ABSTRACT A COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING THIOPYRIDINONE COMPOUNDS, REDUCING AGENT AND AMINO ACID The present invention relates to a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition comprising at least one thiopyridinone compound of formula (I) or formula (I’), with at least one reducing agent of formula (II) and at least one amino acid of formula (III). The composition of the present invention provides brightening or depigmentation effect on a keratin material, preferably skin. The composition including thiopyridinone compound of formula (I) or formula (I’) provides increased stability of the thiopyridinone compound of formula (I) or formula (I’).
