Abstract: This invention is designed for effectively loading plurality of large size thin section skins of varying configurations arranged side-by-side in electrolytic baths. The main purpose of the invention is to ensure safe positioning of multiple large skins laterally separated at a safe distance and positioned firmly to avoid any undesirable contacts during the pre-processing, processing and post-processing of the operations. The fixture is fabricated by means of a set of handling media (100), lifting multi-arm (200), structural frame (300) and damping link (400) mechanically connected with each others with fasteners. The fixture with skins is to be suspended into the electrolytic bath from an electrically conducting bar. This invention benefits in loading multiple skins in a single charge at a pre-determined safe distances which results in increased efficiency and better quality.
DESC:The principle object of the present invention is to position plurality of large size thin section skins of varying configurations arranged side-by-side in electrolytic baths into an electrolytic bath in a single charge by ensuring safe positioning of multiple large skins laterally separated at a pre-determined safe distances between each others to avoid any undesirable accidental contacts between the skins &/ or fixture elements, during the pre-processing, processing and post-processing of the operations. ,CLAIMS:We claim,
1. A Multi-Skin Loading Fixture for positioning plurality of skins, comprising of sub-assemblies:
a handling media (100) which is a fabricated structure consisting of;
a holding bar (101) for load bearing, a lifting rod (105), strengthened by main gussets (102); end gussets (103) connecting mounting plates (107) and end plates (104), Electric conducting Copper bars (110), (111) & (112); and
a lifting multi-arm (200) which is a welded construction consisting of;
a set of horizontal members (201), vertical members (202), connector elements (206), clamping elements 204 along with big gussets 203 and small gussets (205) used for strengthening; and a support frame (300) which is a modular construction further consisting of;
a set of longitudinal members (301) and lateral members (302); which are connected mechanically with long vertical members (303) and short vertical members (304), which are sliding over the lateral members (302); and
a set of corner angles (305) and T-connectors (306) further comprising of:
a set of threaded holes features (311) are provided suitably on above said members to engage generic grub screws (312) for temporary local locking of the above said elements in desired positions; and
a damping link (400) which is a mechanical assembly consisting of;
a threaded link-1 (401), a hinged link-2 (402) connected by means of a hinge (405) to other hinged link-3 (403) and threaded link-4 (404); the above said links are connected to each other by means of hinged joints made up of stepped threaded pin (406), nuts (407) and washers (408).
2. The handling media (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shape of said holding bar (101) and said electric conducting copper bars (110), (111) & (112); is rectangular or cylindrical or any other polygonal shape in nature.
3. The lifting multi-arm (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the use of said vertical arm members (202) and clamping elements (204) in plurality in parallel planes either same size or different size.

The support frame (300) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said consisting members arranged in multiplicity of parallel planes in lateral & longitudinal directions to meet the varying requirements of skins of different shapes (segmental skins in shapes like cylindrical, conical, spherical etc.) arranged in different geometrical configurations.
5. The damping link (400) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said mechanical assembly is of the same shape or different shapes in nature, enables limited movement of the skins during the transportation and processing of the said skins.
