Genetically Modified Microorganism For Producing 3 Hydroxyadipic Acid And/Or A Hydromuconic Acid, And Method For Producing Chemical Product

Abstract: Disclosed are: a genetically modified microorganism capable of producing 3-hydroxyadipic acid and/or a-hydromuconic acid at a high yield; and said genetically modified microorganism. The genetically modified microorganism is obtained by enhancing the reaction from producing acetyl-CoA from pyruvic acid, and reducing the function of a catalyst of a pyruvic acid kinase and/or phosphotransferase-based catalyst, in a microorganism having an ability to produce 3-hydroxyadipic acid and/or a-hydromuconic acid.
