Abstract: A work estimation device (200) comprises: a line-of-sight region estimation unit (220); an object detection unit (210); a degree-of-contact calculation unit (230); and a work estimation unit (250). The line-of-sight region estimation unit (220) estimates a line-of-sight region, which is a region in line of sight of a user, by using the information indicating the user's line of sight. The object detection unit (210) detects: a work object used by a user; and at least one target candidate object that is a candidate for the user's work target, from an image showing the work object and the at least one target candidate object. The degree-of-contact calculation unit (230) obtains a degree of contact indicating the degree of contact between the work object and each target candidate object included in the at least one target candidate object, on the basis of the line-of-sight region. The work estimation unit (250) estimates a user's work on the basis of the work object and the degree of contact.
