Refrigeration Type Chiller

Abstract: [Problem] To provide a refrigeration-type chiller suited to gradually changing the temperature of a load to a target temperature over a fixed amount of time. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a coolant circuit 3 that supplies a coolant to a load 2; a refrigeration circuit 4 that adjusts the temperature of the coolant; and a control unit 6 that controls the overall chiller. The control unit 6 comprises: a temperature setting unit 33 that sets the temperature of the coolant as an adjustment target temperature to bring the load 2 to a target temperature; a time setting unit 34 that sets an adjustment time for changing the temperature of the coolant to the adjustment target temperature; a calculation unit 35 that calculates, from the adjustment target temperature and the adjustment time, a temperature change gradient as a target temperature gradient; and a temperature control unit 36 that adjusts the opening degrees of a first electronic expansion valve 24 and a second electronic expansion valve 28 so that the temperature of the coolant changes following the target temperature gradient.
