System And Method For Scheduling Inspection Visits

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method of planning inspection visits of power transmission towers. The system comprises a server (102) for collecting data related to an asset and determining the time period for performing inspection of an asset. The method followed by server (102) comprises determining a probability of failure of an asset and for determining an impact of failure of an asset. The probability of failure of an asset and the impact of failure of the asset is used for determining a risk-impact index of the asset, and the risk-impact index is used to determine the time period of inspection of the asset.
