Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates a canister comprises a housing filed with an adsorption material capable of adsorbing a fuel vapor from an evaporated gas obtained from the fuel tank. The housing is defined with opposing a first side and a 5 second side. The first side comprises an inlet port fluidly connected to the fuel tank to receive the evaporated gas into the hollow chamber. The first side includes a first outlet port fluidly connected to an engine of the vehicle to selectively introduce the fuel vapour into the engine. Further, a second outlet port is open to ambient air to selectively vent a filtered gas into the ambient air. A partition wall is disposed 10 within the housing and defines a passage for flow of evaporated gas. A plurality of baffles is disposed within the hollow chamber, to enhance purging characteristics of the canister. 15 Figures 1 and 2 are representative figure.
