A Clip Assembly For Mounting A Door Trim With A Body Panel

Abstract: The present disclosure relates a clip assembly for mounting a trim with a body panel of a vehicle. The clip assembly comprises a pin inserted into an opening provided within a cavity embossment of the trim and a mounting hole of the body panel aligned with the opening. A clip is removably secured to the pin, wherein the clip is defined with an integral cover configured to conceal the cai embossment. The clip comprises an inner surface having an angular rib to removably couple with the pin. An outer surface of the clip is configured to form a flush condition with the trim. Figures 4 and 5 are representative figure.
