Abstract: A USB charger (1000) comprises a control unit (100) and a receptacle module assembly (300). The receptacle module assembly (300) comprises a user interface port (304) configured to transfer power and exchange data with an external device. A wire harness (200) has a first end coupled to the control unit (100) and a second end coupled to the receptacle module assembly (300). The wire harness (200) comprises at least one power cable (201) configured to transfer power from the control unit (100) to the receptacle module assembly (300), at least one data cable (202) configured to transfer data bi-directionally between the control unit (100) and the receptacle module assembly (300), and a sheath (210) configured to shield the at least one data cable (202).
