A Compressed Gas Storing Device

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a compressed gas storing device of a vehicle. The device comprises a tank to store compressed gas and comprises an inner layer, an outer layer, and a central layer interposed between the inner layer and the outer layer. A plurality of reinforcement structure is disposed within the tank and comprises a plurality of support members each fixedly coupled to the inner layer. Further, a plunger extends away from each of the plurality of support members and the plunger is movably coupled to a frame to move between an extended position and a retracted position about the frame. A biasing member connects the plurality of support member and the frame, wherein the inner layer contracts and moves the plurality of support member and the plunger from the extended position to the retracted position by compressing the biasing member at an offloading condition of the tank.
